But damn that blasted Kyo never made anything that deserves taking place of Terry. Snk is Terry and they are known because of him. Not to mention as character and design he beats kyo in all ways.

yes.. thats why he actually uses real karate moves.. and ken + ryu dont..
wtf guys come on u gota give good old ken more credit then that. ok um well laucorn isnt even in the game fatal fury of kof so technikly he didnt even exist neither did mars the god of war also those movies werent made by snk so they are not legit at all . secondly the street fighter movies are not made by capcom sure the company gave the movie creators the rights to use their characters but capcom didnt create it . so therefore ken didt even team up with ryu to kill bison because thats not what happend according to capcom ( the creator of ken ) so really terry ( the snk character ) didnt beat a god or laucorn . i think u guys are seriously under estimating ken , seeing as he did infact beat ryu once during the alpha series when ryu was all confused and lost about the dark haodu and such . and ken has always been considered one of the top fighters in the sf universe even in sf3 3rd strike while terry was kind of replaced by ppl like kyo and iori in terms of power . also the only true god like being in snk is orochi and terry woulndt stand a chance agaisnt him . dont get me wrong guys im not saying your wrong in your opinions im just saying think carefully about and way up the pros and cons of both fighters . thanks

Terry, having many incarnations since his debut in fatal fury... has had most of them combined into his current garou form to make him really versatile.. however ken still has his sf2 moves with no real 'update'..
only new move ken got that I liked was his 'bag o' laundry kick' from cap vs snk.. (which is another karate move.. but since its so much like Kyo's RED kick.. lets just say he ripped it off 🙂 )

unfortunately there are just many abused japanse words.. ken happens to be one of them as you can see (tekKEN , hadouKEN , Ko-oh-KEN.. and so forth) but I suppose someone like you would just deny everyone the freedom to use the word 'fist/punch' or call them a ripoff
Terry's "Vest" as you call it was his denim jacket he had been fighting in all those years.. it got tattered so he ripped off the sleeves.. but main character fanboys wouldnt really look for that kind of info now would they

and yes. shotokan does exist... but none of the animations ken and ryu do are from the actual art... regardless of the name.. Ryo does real martial art animations.. I havent played as robert lately to comment on his abilities
oh?.. .. just one thing huh.. a move is a move.. ryo / robert did super fireballs, and super combos before capcom thought about them (and ripped off them hardcore).. can you name a capcom fighter today that doesnt have supercombos and super fireballs?.. they copied it.. yet I dont hear you giving SNK props...
I'm all for originality, dont get me wrong... but each company helped fighting games become what they are today.. SNK fighters are a 'very' refreshing break from the repeated street fighter releases
