Superman vs Silver Surfer (fist fight)

One of Surfer's weaknesses, other than magic, is he does not know how to fight. He does a little bit, but no more than a regular guy.

Superman wins this, it's the only way Superman would ever be able to beat Surfer.

Surfer can take hella punishment, but he really can't dish it out in a fist fight. Superman can.

why not? SS can elevate his strength to any degree within the limits of how much power he is channelling at the time. He could also absorb a considerble fraction of te power of a nearby star or SM himself. Superman's power is derived from a small amount of a sun's power...imagine what the Surfer could do if he absorbed an actual quarter of the sun?

Lets not forget Lobo doing the same thing to Superman, well actually, he punched Superman into space, jumped up and punched him down to earth.

Surfer has hit planets with force that destroyed them...why didnt SM unleash such a force on DD or anyone else who beats his ass....like Blackrock...didnt SM hurt his hand against Blackrock this month?
