Dooku(ROTS) vs. Anakin(ROTS), Obi-wan(ROTS), and Qui-gon(TPM)

First time I've agreed with you. How odd.

I know, that's what I said. ?????? Maybe I didn't explain it right. You might want to re-read that post I made on the teamwork and such. Yes, Dooku would most likely win.

i hate to say it guys but u gotta stop the ifs and or buts anikin killed dooku I SAW IT and u all saw it! but i can definately say that in a longer battle anikin would have lost but 3 vs. dooku im gongo with the trio!

And M.M. Yoda, if you looked at the novel, Sidious was testing Anakin; he promised to intervene to Dooku if things got too far out of hand. Now I know that Anakin took his hands off, and that was a good move, but Had Dooku used his best effort, he would have killed both Jedi. And if you compare his technique in AOTC to that of ROTS, you'll notice the difference; AOTC Dooku is more lethal, precise. In the sequel, he's careless, and underestimates the Jedi.

Which irked me, but was for dramatic neccessity. The prequels being made thirty years later dictated that hardasses such as Yoda, Mace, Qui-Gon, and Dooku would lose.

Dooku just lost in the wrong way. He was an elitist and a perfectionist he was a great character. I hated how he died. Vader should have killed him, but not whiny snot boy Anakin who would never have had a real chance against somebody like Dooku.

Anakin TPM= Horny little kid. Hated
Anakin ATOC= Too many issues and whinning. Hated
Anakin ROTS= The only Anakin in the PT that was cool. Loved.
Anakin ANH, ESB, and ROTJ (Vader)= Best.

Here we go:

First, for all you people who deny it, Dooku intentionally lost to Anakin. His strikes with the lightsaber were incredibly different from the strikes in AOTC. He looked like a youngling with the way he was fighting. Anakin just barely beat him in ROTS, and that's when Dooku wasn't even really trying. He'll first get Qui alone, which wouldn't be that hard for him, and kill him quie easily since his style is wide open attacks, which is the opposite of Dooku's form, which employs direct and precise strikes. Next comes Anakin. Dooku doesn't even need to push Obi away, since Obi wouldn't be making many strikes since he used form 2, which is a very defensive form. Dooku will kill Anakin pretty easily cuz like Qui's style, it employs wide strikes, which makes him vulnerable to Dooku's precise strikes.

Last but the best, is Obi Wan. He is the only one out of the three who would be able to defend himself adequately. But evenually Dooku would probably kill him.

I agree; except Dooku would get Anakin with the Force, then kill while he was down, because those fast and powerful attacks from Form V would be unlockable by Dooku's Form II. And he'd probably need to throw Obi Wan or something too, because chances are, he's not going to be able to break he's Soresu defense without a pretty good fight. He can, but it would take more time than would normally be necessary.

I still believe that he could kill Anakin in a straight up duel since Anakin would go in their thinking he's better, but then get his ass kicked and probably get Obi killed since he would leave him all alone.

I agree. He could kill Anakin in a straight duel, but why would he need to? It's more risky, because Anakin is physically way stronger. If he can just slam him into a wall and chop him while he's unconcious, why wouldn't he. hat being said, yes, Dooku could take all three simultaneously with no Force attacks.

If we're talking legends, depending on the circumstances, assuming Dooku has prepared for this fight, knows not to push Anakin to the dark-side, etc, he might take a minority of wins.

He would need to kill Anakin quickly first, then ragdoll Kenobi, and exploit Jinn's Ataru. He'll be exhausted by the end of it.
