Yeah but it has a plotline.
War of the Worlds had the shittest plot ever. We're supposed to believe that aliens are smart enough to study us for millions of years, construct robots under the earth that come out at a certain time to kill us after the aliens have travelled light years to fight.
Then we find out that these super advanced aliens forgot to take into account that our water has bacteria in it that is harmful to them.
Anyone claiming that this movie is good, has a very shit opinion.
Oh and yeah, they're clearly ruthless aliens. Because we all know that when aliens come to destroy the earth after studying us for millions of years, the easiest way to outsmart them is to hide in the basement.
