K on the actual topic so like c17 says this won't get close... only solution I can think of so far is to make sure that good well-thought out threads don't get lost by posting in them and bumping them back up to the top/back to the first page if they get lost amongst the other crap.
Problem is a lot of the time the badly thought out threads involve the fanboy favourites so someone is bound to post in them drowning out other threads.
