I never straight out asked to be a Global, you don't have the full facts about it and it doesn't matter anymore.
Who's not on? Most of the global's during the busiest forum times. I'm not saying you're literally never on, but 90% of the time when the forum is at it's busiest moments there is no Global to moderate the threads, the reports get stacked up and reports get looked over. I saw this happen myself. I respect you WD, what I said was not meant to degrade or put down all of the Global Moderators. It's just the truth.
It's true I was not always on, but I was on the majority of the time unless I had something drastic happen where I could not be at a computer for a few days. I can count on 1 hand how many times I had to ask for help in the Episode III forum.
The respect is mutual Ken. You did a great help for KMC by becoming a mod again. I myself was sad to see you go. And it was unfortunate that I couldn't provide you with sufficient aid to help you on the SW forum. Trust me, If I could, I would have help as much possible. But I had to leave. Is summer time and it is basically the season in which everyone has plans for something. The fact that we make mistakes is human. It happens and we're extremely careful not to messed things in the forums. I'm sure you understand, I'm sure you were in that same position a few times.
Damn... this is one spiteful thread......... few comments (just my two cents)
1) I dunno if its more mods that are needed or just more mods on at the busiest times... that seems to be a problem I have noticed.. some idiot members seem to intentionally wait until they know when the globals arent on and then go nuts .. i suggest a blue ribbon study to determine the most active new thread times of the day 😛
2) lil b - i never knew you didnt want to be referred to by your name on here.. duly noted ( i think you username is awesome anyway 😛) ANYWAY, WTF is this about Lil b not doing her job? tahts total & utter crap, everyone has eneminies & what not but I have personally seen her be more than fair in some cases where if it were me i would have taken much more drastic action, simply because she waits to make totally sure her actions are fair is not bad modding, its the mark of an open mind IMO
3) someone one suggested a subforum to the OTF, so that the OTF can be for fun stuff and the subforum for the silly crap like 'I just ate a grilled cheese sandwhich!!' , of course what goes where would be totally subjective & left up to the mods but I dont really see how it could hurt to try it
4) Sory but I dont think themods have to tell anyone ANYTHING about why they take what actions they take.. there have been some decisions made that i didnt agree with but i kept my mouth shut because A) it aint my board, if I dont like it I dont have to visit B) most likely there is something going on behind the scenes that is none of my damn business.. This is Raz's board, not a friggin democracy where everthing requires a majority decision. dont like it? there's a whole huge net for ya to go play in
and for what its worth, I thought you did an awesome job in Ep 3 Ken. I would have loved to have you as global 🙂

We need atleast two more Global moderators, IMO. Only because we have 3 in totally different time zones. UK, Mexico, and 2 in the US, both in Cali, both 4 hours behind the East Coast users.
Subforums in the OTF? Meh. How about some quality control? That's all it needs. The GDF also needs that as well, given you have to be gay, overly religious, or a politician to enjoy what it has to offer.

ERm... a good Global, will not under any circumstances attack anyone unfairly. Whil I can't make a fiar judegement as I don't really watch her like a hawk.. she handled this poorly (Re-read the thread some more... it'd be best to see the reasons and pay attention instead of jumping to post about it)

i say make cine a global. there is a big time slot when there's no global's available, and usually when im on, there's no global's on, but cine's always on. i think he's responsible and could be a great global mod. woot woot.
i also think we should stop attacking members here in this thread and discuss KMC as a whole

This sounds likea good idea, but would it take much time to implement? The main problem here is that although we have a fantastic team of mods at KMC, there are times when nowhere near enough leaders are actually available. If there were enough to cover the forums 24/7 then the problems with 'intentional trolling' would, or should, be sorted.

3 ~ OTF subforum
As Lana said, there used to be one. Tired Hiker's Pad. Which was awesome, the OTF regulars really did take note of its existence and used it properly, I'm still unsure as to why it was removed but this is another story entirely... it's unfortunate as we are now reaping the repercussions of its removal and the OTF has literally become the KMC toilet 🙁
4 ~ Moderating decisions
I agree ✅ The mods are here to keep the forum moderated, therefore they are the forumleaders, they do not have to answer to the members. That defeats the whole object! I think they are doing a great job in their current capacity, but we very obviously are in need of more. Until the moderating team contains enough mods, there will be problems at KMC.

Not really 89 people have responded of those 89, 29 feel there is a problem.
The sample group is to small really to show anything with any validity and the people who respond to this thread are more likely to see a problem than those that do not respond to this thread. It has in statistical terms- 0 validity as the p value = less than 1 to a max of 1, off the top of my head. This means that it has no value statistically.
