Kel sighed. he went back to the window and watched the street. "Damn it!" He said, leaning on the window.

Sam limped out of the shadows. "How could you tell?" He asked, wiping away some blood from his eye. Sam's clothes were tattered and his arm bas broken and hanging to his side. His other arm was holding in the blood that was gushing from a wound he got from shrapnel. Sam's left leg was shredded but mostly intact and he tried to continue limping forward. Sam fell to his knees and tried to catch his breath. "What did I miss?"

Kel slammed his fist on the wall. "They couldn't have been Sam! He can't have just died. He's strong! He'll be back!" He shouted looking back out the window. "Why should he die for us? What did we ever do for him?"

Sam woke up and gasped from pain when Lance removed the large chunk of shrapnel from his stomach. He looked around the room. "Is everyone alright? Did anyone else get hurt?" he asked, sounding panicked.
