As he watched these heroes fight he saw a little boy being attacked by a Wolf Gang member. The heroes were all fighting this group of ultra humans, so he ran towards the boy.

"Hey, leave the kid alone," Ben said, wondering where surprise courage came from.

As the Wolf member ran towards him, he threw a ring at it, but the member dodged it and slashed at Ben. The impact of the slash sent Ben hurling towards an overturned car. When he hit the car , he saw the member running at the little boy again. Ben tossed another ring again, this time hitting his mark. The boy's attacker disintegrated right over the boy.

Ben ran to the little boy.

"Are you alright?"

"I am now. You're my hero," the boy said.

Ben liked being called a hero.
