James, not catching a chance to answer the rest of them, eyed the Sentinels as they flew overhead.
"Damnit... Alright, dad, let's see just how well-built this suit is."
He pulled his helmet on and locked it into place, taking to the air.
"Newsflash, boys, I'm the only one allowed to fly in a rusty tin-can around here, or didn't you hear?"
As he saw one draw near, Jamie charged one of the beams on his right arm, aiming at the giant machinistic abomination. He felt a slight jolt as the suit expelled the beam and pierced the right shoulder of the Sentinel, catching it off-guard.
"Yes!... Score one for the home team." The Sentinel drew near again, this time joined by another. "Can't take me on your own? Fine, the more the merrier..." He instantly felt a pang of regret at these words as several Sentinels gathered around him.
"If they didn't know we were here then they sure do now."Tori grabbed Andy."I'm gonna protect you ok"
Janet sighed."Can have one night out.She ran to an Alley an changed into her hero suit. She flew up next to what seemed to be Iron-Man"What are you doing here Iron-Man."As the Sentinels drew closer Janet grabbed two with her Telekinisis using them as sheilds.Which she had used alot of energy to do."I can't do that anymore"
Lance gave a sigh and walked out " so eager for the movie too...." he floated out his hand glowing as he was using electical spells to short the sentinal out
Blayze blinked at the would be iron man and flrew past him to re wire one of the sentinals to fight for them landing on ones back and quickong workign on rewiring it

So much for a free night, Ben thought to himself. Andy would have been the first person he went to had he not seen Tori scoop him up. He thought that this would be "No Heroes Needed" night but apparently the sentinels had another thing on their hard drives. He ran out of the movie theatre in civilian clothing seeing that he didn't bring his costume.
"You have another thing coming tonight," he said to a sentinel that was hovering over the parking lot. He blasted it with his concussion blast sending a few pieces of hurtling towards the ground. He then used his sonic rings to disintegrate the free falling pieces before they crushed any cars or people.
*Any idea how these things found us,* he asked Blayze through Janet's mind link.
*Well until then, I won't be very happy!* He blasted another and it was downed. A sentinel then fired an energy beam at Ben. He aimed his concussion blast at the ground and shot himself high into the sky. Before he hit the ground, he vaporized the sentinel's arms and head.
He used a series of small blast to land somewhat safely on the ground. He fell on his back and the wind was knocked right out of him. "That didn't feel good," he wheezed.

As Janet fell from the sky blyzes Sentinel soft intercepted the fall.
Jordan was at the new base watching the 11 o'clock news. As an breaking news scene flashed across the screen.
As the sentinel streamed close to Tori and Andy, Tori turned toward Andy."I need you to see were you can hide"
Tori hopped on her water slide blasting the Sentinels."Too easy"She laughed
Reporter:"I'm Trisha White.Right Now several mutants are attacking Sentinels that were reported to have just been running an test flight.As you can see The Phoenix,and Iron-Man are helping these mutants. Oh there's one attacking an sentinel now.The reporter turned around as tori pushed one across the news crew"It seems this mutant finds this funny"
James shook his head as everyone kept mentioning his father's name in reference to him.
"Well, at least they're halfway right... I guess I'll have to shake that, though, if I'm going to add up to much of anything."
Taking another pop shot at one of the Sentinels, he managed to completely disable its flight systems, sending it hurtling toward the ground.
"Alright, who else wants some of me?! Come on, I can go all day!"
The sound of a reporter commenting on Iron Man's appearance entertained him, and he intended to prove just how NOT his father he was by removing his helmet after the fight itself had ended.
For now, let's just hope there aren't many more of these Sentinels...
