everybody get in line

That's your opinion.

You need to stop trying to make it everyone else's.This may be the reason you get into so many flame wars. You have to let people like what they like.

this pretty much sums it up

err no I could care less if people dont like daredevil or like xmen or dont like elektra or dont think kilmer is hot.you seldom ever see me talking about those topics anymore do you? even Bakerboy doesnt like elektra but I could care less about that.you dont even see me talking about the spiderman movie either these days in case you havent noticed.and hey I never said kilmer was HOT.just that he at least fits the part.dont put words in my mouth.either you get it that burton screwed up or you dont.

anyways I have spelled it out as best I can how they are horrible movies that dont deserve to be called batman and have grown tired of it.again you either get it or you dont.

I started saying I didnt like Burton films that much so Mr parker pulls me in as his "best pal" and now I actually said burton's B89 isnt so bad and he suddenly loves Bakerby, who hasnt been on for months! Well, Mr Parker...
1)Tim Burton is NOT a spawn of satan...
2)I love the Spider- movies
3) I love X Men, comics and movies
4)Elektra movie sucks
5) daredevil movie sucks
6)Val Kilmer is an ugly d**k and wasfar worse than keaton, he was a gay freakshow!

happy, Mr Parker, approximately... everyone on this forum... thinks you talk BS!

Man, like everyones said already these are YOUR opinions. Yes, BB is a great film, it PROBABLY fits Batman perfectly now BUT Burtons batman was absoulutly great when it came out in 1989 and the majority of people thought so... alot of people still do. It has been said that it was the start of the new era of comic book movies... and its not that people are just Burton fans, mindlessly supporting him. For a great deal of people it was the first time someone had taken the character and had taken him seriously (in a movie) and not camped him up and when he first appeared on screen it was breathtaking. Yeah, of course NOW you can say that there were mistakes made, like anything hindsight is a fantastic thing but why can't you accept that alot of people actually like Batman89, just like some people like BB and some don't. Thats life, not everyone likes the same things!

okay I see that now your just posting to try and get a reaction out of me Knightfall.Guess what? Im not taking the bait. 😛

No, Mr Parker, i'm serious... you're a stubborn, controlling, arrogant moron who wouldnbt know a good superhero if it hit you in the face... it just so happned batman Begins hit you somewhere lower down!

maybe the majority of batfans but not movie goers. alot of people also have come out since batman begins admitting that 89 is not that good of a movie though.I know posters at other sites and in real life that I know loved 89 but now are admitting its not that good.I have been saying there were mistakes in the very BEGINNING back in 89 when it came out,not just now so have many people I know.they just arent as passionate about it as I him to come on here and voice thier anger over how that idiot burton messed up the batman movies with his horrible casting choice of keaton as batman his killings, ect.I can accept it.I have known for years most moviegoers enjoy watching crap. 😄 the phamtom menace star wars movie is proof of that. 😄

again give up knightfall Im not taking the bait and playing your game. 😛

Yeah, but you're just trying to avoid the argument... you're ignoring the post because you cant reply!

look Parker, I simply don't understand how big that chip is on your shoulder regarding this issue.

sometimes i agree with what you say and you do give insightful posts, BUT i seriously don't understand where this Burton hate is coming from. So you didn't like his interpretation.....OK WE GOT IT. No point in jamming it down everybody's throat and then tell people to stop being negative towards something you actually do like. That's simply being hypocritical.

And if you value your own opinions so much and could care less what other people think about certain movies, why do you keep on giving shoutouts to Harvey Dent or Bakerboy whenever they agree with you? And dont' say it's just Batman, because I've seen you spewing the same criticisms to people who liked Spider-man or X-men and hated Daredevil or Elektra.

I pity this vendetta you have. It's just a movie. Get. Over. It.

AMEN

SpyCspider...I completely agree with what you said about Parker...but it's no use I think...The guy is like a forum troll, no matter what you say, you're only encouraging him...Avoid the forum troll!😉

I have to agree with him Mr Parker.

I've said before, you have to stop belittling people for liking something you don't.You're doing yourself no favors.

Don't try and force your opinions on others. It doesn't work like that. How would you like it if people were constantly snapping at your heels because you like Superman or Batman Begins??

I'm almost tempted to do that even though I love both...

This one is a tough one. They're both Batman films that are in the loosest sense, and they both have their good moments and their bad. In Batman Returns, the good parts were easily the tense relationship between Bruce and Selina, and conversely Batman and Catwoman. The bad parts was the almost forced storyline involving the Penguin's run for the mayor, and the even more forced Max Schreck. With Batman Forever, the good parts were both the Riddler's and Robin's methodical introductions. The bad parts were the campy Two-face (such as waste) and all the neon. I'm kind of torn on this one. They're both enjoyable summer popcorn movies in a sense, yet neither is great and neither is bad. In the end though, if I had to ultimately choose, I would pick Returns, since it had the last outing of the great Michael Keaton as Batman and Bruce Wayne. Just seeing him in that dark and brooding scene at the very beginning of the film completely sells me as Batman.

Well, popularity wise Forever wtfpwned Returns. It's still the highest grossing Batman movie to date (yes, as phenomenal as Begins is, Forever made the most money of all the Batman movies). But personally I thought Kilmer pulled off Bruce Wayne and Batman better than Keaton in the end. Although I didn't like the way the way the villains were done in Forever, waaaaay to campy. And speaking of bad characters, Chris O'Donnel was 1.) Way too old to play Dick Grayson/Robin (I believe he was 28 at the time) and 2.) Was too whiny and childish.

Niether of the movies were oustanding IMO, but Forever has the edge over Returns....ever-so slightly.

I voted for Batman Forever.Other than Batman Begins.it was the only other good Batman movie thats been made so far.

BF was crap... I cat really remember BR so, having rewatched and reconsidered 89, I'm not sure my view...

well I think you might like Batman Returns Knightfall...it has more action than the one of 89...there is only one thing you won't like and that's the penguin...I think it's rather clear you don't like that he became a freak lol
