Pressing a moot point might qualify. I'm not one for confrontation, so how about we forget this personal argument, as we've both made shallow comments.
Something "involves" the Running Man, definitely. I never said it didn't. But it's been confirmed that you can't beat the running man under purely conventional means. I haven't played against him very recently, but as I remember, his text includes something like this:
"Your time was [insert your race time]! I got here one second before you!"
That's part of the text in what he says, and as I already remember, it's not a separate color, which means he's programmed to say it when you talk to him.
I'm saying that by activating the Running Man scenario, maybe there's a closed door somewhere that's no longer locked or an odd barrier that mysteriously disappears. That's the sort of unconventional thing that makes a secret hard to find, and therefore big and ultimately rewarding when it's discovered.
