The Hero of Time at his age of 17 in OoT and his dark side must unite to defeat Sonic and Shadow. Who will be the greater hero and dark counterpart? You decide.

Sonic + Shadow are really fast
Shadow can PAUSE time

Link + dark Link are just sword warriors, with only a bit of magic.

Shadow + Sonic'd b 2 fast.

Try a magic shield, and they do have to build up speed.

Can't believe no one's countered Super Sonic with Nayru's Love yet. And anyone ever hear of the Giant's Mask? He can turn huge and dance around for a little while. Link moves at normal speed while Giant, he doesn't get big, clumsy and slow. With feet that big, Sonic and Shadow are probly gonna get hit eventually.

Light Arrows are damn powerful, even against enemies other than Ganondorf. And in both OoT and Wind Waker, the key to killing Ganon is indeed the Master Sword.

Mach 1 is not beyond sight. Sonic and Shadow do not have reactions at mach speed, since your control of them when moving that fast is limited. So Link can anticipate an attack eventually, and utilize bombs or some other form of trap to kill the hedgehogs.

The Mirror Shield would reflect projectiles of all kinds back at the hedgehogs.

Dark Link is just useless... He has nothing but a sword and shield. Link should get like... Ganondorf or something. Not Dark Link.

And oh yes, I suppose everyone in the army's wussy for using guns? And samurai are all jokes. Hey, if we get into comics, Green Lantern is an absolute freaking laughing stock! Or not... It's not what you use to kill someone, its how classy you look while doing it.

Really. The Mirror Shield didn't deflect Ganondorf's attacks back.

Lol!! Is this a contest? Shadow and Sonic in Super form could ram Link and D Link's asses off, and I think that they could fly out of reach of a boomerang or the hook shot thingy. Plus they move faster than the speed of sound I believe?

Mach speed is one of Sonic's best accomplishments. And how the hell do you "ram" someone who is INVINCIBLE? Nayru's Love can last more than 50 seconds, and that's assuming that Sonic gets his emeralds. The hedgehogs don't instantly go 0-Mach 1 either. There's a lot of acceleration involved, and their reactions aren't that fast. Planting bombs would work, as would putting up the mirror shield in the direction that Sonic/Shadow is coming from and have them run into it. Once they're stopped they're good as dead by a sword, a hammer, or some light arrows. And there's still no conceivable way to beat Giant Link with Sonic and Shadow.

Invincible, sorry. Is Chaos Control even powerful enough to teleport someone to space?

Farore's Wind can probably get him back while Nayru's Love protects him. Then he drinks one of those magic milks from MM and goes apeshit on the 'hogs.

I don't think Nayura's Love let's him breathe in space. And Link would even cast Farore's Wind thinking he doesn't need it and so he dies.

You gonna prove Link won't use it? And since when does Sonic get Super form anyway? If he gets Super Sonic Link gets unlimited magic. 😉

And since Nayru's Love makes Link pretty invincible, prove to me he won't be able to breathe in space. Oh, and the Ocarina can return him to Earth. Sound doesn't work in space, but the oxygen in Link's lungs and Nayru's Love protecting him should give him enough air to play 6 notes. You also can't prove that the magic of the Ocarina won't work if sound isn't produced.

I still retain my uncounterable strategy of Giant Link.

If Link gets all his items Sonic should get the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Nayru's Love doesn't stop air from coming in and out. Giant Link can only take off the mask and use his sword so Sonic uses Chaos Control to send him into space and Sonic and Shadow wins just like the Arbiter said.

Prove Nayru's Love won't keep Link alive in space. It's not possible. Nayru's Love is magic. The point is for it to not make sense, and as far as the game goes, it keeps Link alive through everything.

Link's standard abilities are his weapons. Sonic doesn't aways have the Chaos Emeralds. If Sonic gets the emeralds, Link gets unlimited magic, and therefore unlimited Nayru's Love. Even if Link goes to space, he would still have protection from Nayru's Love and enough air in his lungs to play a teleportation song on his Ocarina.

I'm voting for just ruling out Chaos Control, Super Sonic, and Nayru's Love altogether... Since they're cheap ways of victory. And Link can still move around as a Giant. Are you saying that Sonic would survive a 200 foot giant stepping on him?

Also, barring the invincible forms, most of the attacks Sonic can bring involve actually touching Link. He has a mirror shield for projectiles anyway. But since Sonic and Shadow have very poor motion controlwhen running at full tilt, Link could fairly easily anticipate an attack and plant some bombs or simply stop Sonic with his shield and kill him while motionless.

I also vote for replacing the utterly useless Dark Link with Ganondorf... Who would absolutely own Shadow.
