Those are all pre power up. He was quite a match for Thanos since thats what he was created for.

About the Warlock sleeping hold, thats true 😛 The biggest setback of post powered up Drax is that hes dumb. Altho alot funnier that way.

Drax is more powerful than superman but superman is smarter with out question. Drax w/power gem is pretty much unbeatable since his strength and invulnerability increases dramatically with out the power gem drax is still a handful just as fast as gladiator. Drax has more raw power regardless if he is stupid or not if you sleep on Drax you will get your a$$ kicked bad.

this happened when thanos put surfer and drax in the soul gem right b4 the infinity gauntlet.

On the soul plane where Warlock was basically god.
Warlock has total and perfect control over the soul plane i.e Warlock dropping a massive hulk like giant with a word.

There is a HUGE difference between Drax with the gem i.e unlimited strength and durability.

Damn its true. It was in the soul plane! Even so Drax was giving quite a fight :

Warlock its one of the guys that at marvel has the better rep of all. He only lost twice in the sense he never gave payback to those two he lost so far.

Superman really can't physically beat Drax, so unless there is some plot device, it's a stalemate.

Myself, I don't think Superman is durable enough to handle a blast from Drax, but he may be.

drax can fly at superspeed, but that doesnt mean he can react at it. drax is not smart enough to use the power gem in all its ways. supes will take him even with the gem.

he would punch it out of his stomach the same way thor did. and since supes is faster than thor, it should be easier

Almost no one who flies at superspeed react the same way. Superman got superspeed and when Primaid went at him ( issue two of the current Jla sereis ) he didnt reacted in time. This is not dbz.

Superman has tooken on star destroying and planet destroying attacks before. And Supes has the advantage in reflexes and fighting speed.
