Ok I just checked this DD comic I have and it says Ock has adamantium tentacles. However this comic was years ago.
Then I found a more recent Doc ock comic and it had a fact file on Doc ock. It said his tentacles can reach up to 24 feet. Good luck reaching Ock wolvie.
It also said ( surprise surprise) Ocks tentacles are made of Adamantium. There is a pick of Doc Ock with his tentacles spread out in four different directions. Cyclops is trying to break one with his eye beams and to no avail, Iceman is tryin to freeze one to make it brittle, doesnt work. Wolvie is tryin to cut one with his claws, this DOESN'T WORK. Finally Hulk is biting the remaining tentacle which is useless against Doc's adamantium.
can't believe this thread is still going. knowing how wolvie/spidey fands are, i've been reluctant to chime in here. wolvie/spidey fans are by far the most . . . persistent bunch on this forum. 🙂
anyway, ock has possessed three different harnesses during his career: the original titanium harness, the more powerful adamantium harness, and the current harness, which was modified recently to resemble the version seen in the movie Spider-Man 2. the original and adamantium harnesses were both destroyed in the Lethal Foes of Spider-Man miniseries. to the best of my knowledge, he has not regained adamantium arms. (unless it happened very recently)
The arms also react far above human reaction speeds and everyone knows they can lift several tons each. imho wolvie COULD likely cut through them though. however, it might take more than one shot. if ock grabs him quickly enough, spread eagles wolvie's arms (a la what he did to hulk) the other 2 arms could make things . . . very messy for wolverine.
i'd say ock 7/10.

there's a huge difference when ock is grabbing someone who can't disable said arms, nor detatch them whatsoever then when it's him against an opponent who has the capability to do so......his tenticals have faster reaction time than a normal human....well yeah that's true but in all fairness so does wolverine....(before the wolverine hating crowd goes bloodthirsty, I'm not saying he's super fast or anything of the sort, just that he's far more capable than any average human, this is why he didn't lose to ock before, this is why he held his own against omega red, this is why he thrashed epsilon red, this is why he gave comeron hodge so much trouble, this is why venom couldn't encase him in symbiotic tendrils.....) Wolverine's arms move extremely fast....and I seriously doubt that he'd have trouble cutting off ocks limbs with them.....he can cut through savage hulks skin in a single stroke....ocks tenticals don't even come close to that kind of durability... and as far as the ock vs hulk example goes...again...adantium tenticals that hulk can't disarm nor destroy when in savage state, vs. professor hulk?....not quite an accurate example of wolverine vs. doc ock....would you say?

There's a reason he won't get to do all of that either...
Noone's saying he cannot cut the tentacles, he just won't be doing damned much else by the time ock grabs one arm.
At first I thought Dock Ock, but I admit I am not so sure anymore.
The thing is, Dock Ock has, besides his arm - who are of course very very dangerous - well ehrm, nothing ! I think Wolverine can take him on a good day, but all the other fights will either result in a loss for Wolverine or in a draw.

He's gonna cut through Doc Ock's tentacles? It would take a while, and it probably won't happen before he gets slammed unconscious. Doc Ock's tentacles aren't controlled by a PS2 controller. They're like his arms.
