An actual radio broadcast from 1973, from a now deceased reporter named Gordon Sinclair. At least ONE Canadian sees us in a positive light. I can't speak for today's people as many people diagree with us over a broad range of stuff, but at least oneperson saw the good in us,and for me, that's enough.

Well, it's human nature (it makes people feel special, and I'm guilty of it sometimes for certain topics) to bash anything that comes across a message board that they have at least 0.01% dissatisfaction with.
Ah, I think Canada is awesome. Its about as different as you can get from here (Texas), not that I mind Texas, but I think I would get along better with the people in Canada as a whole. I think its one of the few other nations I would actually live, others being Germany, England, and the Netherlands.
All i know that its hard core Conservative (on FOX news) that been getting really mad saying were some liberal country ruled by a socialist government were people can't do what they want and govt controls everything.
No the current Liberal party is actually not even close to being Socialist compared to other parties here.
The govt has one tax-funded Chanel on TV, CBC. Also the selling of Liquor is done at govt controlled stores and that for profit really.
