harry would have to kill himself before voldy and not at the same time
maybe if someone shot harry and the bullet went throught harry and then hit volermort then that would be doable

Harry can't be the final horocrux because voldermort ment to kill Harry that night in Godric Hollow and when the curse rebounds on him he says in a book that he was turned to mere spirit he couldnt hold a wand to perform any kind of spell so how could he of made Harry a horocrux after he had tried to kill him

Also in order of the Phoenix Dumbledore says that voldemort cannot posses Harry through occulmency because Harry is full of love, the one thing voldemort cannot stand.

Dumbledore also backs this up by refferring to occulmency by saying something like "It was not your mind that saved you but your heart."

I agree... A part of Voldemorts soul woulld not even last 5 seconds in Harry's body. It would be destroyed by the power of love. He cannot even possess Harry.

And as someone previously said, as soon as the Avada Kedavra curse backfired he was turned into spirit. He could not have held a wand.

sorry if this has been mentioned before but i think dumbledore thought about harry being a horcux

in OoTP after nagini attacks arthur weasley dumbledore asks to a machine "but in essence divided" to me,the machine answered yes,meaning harry was not tied to nagini and thus not tied to voldemort

hhhmmmmmmm....... that is a good thought totoum, it is not hard to think that Dumbledore thought about it...

I was just re-reading this thread and laughed at how much we all overthought everything....the "missing horcrux" is obviously the locket that wouldn't open at Grimmauld Place in OotP. 🙄

No, I haven't been here for a long time and was just laughing at myself.....what I used to think and how obvious it is to me now how wrong I was....but obviously you didn't even read my post or you would've seen that.

Personally i don't believe Harry to be a Horcrux, i can see no information in the books pointing to this and i believe that Harry scar serves the purpose of forming a link between Harry's and Voldemort's mind, not via a horcrux. Remembering that a horcrux is a part of a soul and that when Ginny was giving her soul to Voldie she became possesed and weak. Therefore to actually share your soul would leave you in a worse state? Also in book 6 (UK pg. 465) Slughorn states that 'The wizard intent upon creating a horcrux would use the damage to his advantage: he would encase the torn portion - '
'Encase? But how - ?'
'There is a spell, do not ask me, I don't know"
So it would be impossible to unintentionally create a horcrux and im betting that its a difficult spell possibly time consuming to persuade people from attempting it, as if it's not difficult enough to perform murder.

Yeah, because how did the Avada Kadavra curse leave a scar? Maybe Voldemort decided to make Harry a Horcrux (his scar). Maybe Voldemort used the Avada Kadavra curse on himself. ??? Just a possibility.

Maybe the entire house(Godric Hollow) is horcrux🙂
Just wildly speculating...but in the first book JKR said that it was destroyed that night, but how it was destroyed? James fought V. but the house colapsed later...
