an average sized female will use 2000 calories a day without exercise
if you take in 500 calories per day less than you use up then you will lose about 1 lbs per week
1000 calories less per day will be 2 lbs per week
running will burn up about 200 calories in 15 minutes....
if you can limit your intake to 1500 calories and burn up 500 calories a day running then you will hit your target in 15 weeks
also try to limit your fat intake to between 10 and 15 grams per day
