Im thinking of getting this, has anyone got the Starter Kit? What differences did they make to the original game?

Im tossing up between WoW and SWG, I dont know which to get..

WoW is more user-friendly.. although I havent played SWG, I know the graphics for that game are fairly outdated.. perhaps backfire can offer some insight.. or another who's more acquainted with SWG

SWG Sucks IMO. You gotta pay, thers alot of nering, and etc.

Welcome to the saying "GET A JOB".

For WoW you have to pay also, but its worth it if your either fan of the series.

If your a Star Wars fan then you'll love it. If you'd like a rip-off of WoW with a less bastardish Dev team then go for WoW...

Yeah Im a Star Wars nerd, dont play a lot of Warcraft, but my friend has WoW and it looks pretty good. I'd get SWG but Im not sure what its like, none of my friends have it. I dont know whether its worth the money or not.

Do NOT get that game, PvP sucks IMO. The game is just super messed up. WoW has amazing PvP, and PvE alike. SWG < WoW.... The Force < Magic. Jedi < Shaman. Creature Handlers < Hunters. Don't get me wrong, I love Star Wars but I'd rather run around as an Orc and kill people with my boar opposed to wasting money.

Can you not flaunt your opinions CobbleR. If you had realised that even me, I hate Warcraft games (although I did start WoW) have said the good things about it.

Yes, you can run around as an orc (lotr rip off) on a boar and other such wild beasts, whereas on Star Wars Galaxies you can have your Twi'Lek Imperial Stormtrooper ride around on a Taun-Taun (from ESB). It's Great!

almost every game based on fantasy is a LOTR rippoff.

But besides that it looks like a good game, I'm not touching it tho -risk of getting addicted right before my exams-

Lol i didnt see the JK bit, thought it was initials for the guy who wrote it.

Yes I know, there classy, and remember I played the game as i said, but Star Wars mounts (although not too great ingame) ffs its Star Wars!

And "ffs" it's the world of Warcraft you're running around. People who have played WCIII: FT will have revered its world the same way you do the Star Wars world.
