yea after OWAW Lex got a hold of Doomsdays body and his scientists was able with the bones left over was able to get his dna started up again and was able to remake his body again.. Imperiex destroyed him with a casual gesture (a wave of his hand) and Doomsday was vaporized into bones. Superman would be dead right now if Darksied didn't get Superman outta there, heck Superman even got burned just being near the blast that killed Doomsday. When the Joker freed Doomsday under the Pentagon who did he go for first??? he went right for Lex, some people say he went for Lex because Dooms knew Lex sent him after Imperiex and was going to kill Lex for that but that in itself asks a question "wasn't Doomsday suppose to be just a mindless monster not very smart but full of rage? and how if that is true would he figure it out that Lex sent him after Imperiex???" Also looking back when Doomsday and Superman was in Metropolis fighting the first time, Doomsday was heading to Metropolis while Superman was standing right next to him, if he hated Superman so much why would he leave Superman and still be marching to Metropolis?? who else in that city that Doomsday would want to get at????? idk but im sure there is more to the story between them that DC has not told us.
Also Darksied has 2 kinda beams that he can try to kill people with, 1 is the Omega Beams which is very very hot beams (hotter then Apokolips fires) and the 2nd is the Omega Effect which is very very hot and can erase anyone from The Source. Darksied hit Doomsday with the 1stbeam not 2nd.
But anyway Doomsday would win if it was the Doomsday that does not know pain, if its the new Doomsday Thanos would easily win.
Doomsday was known around the universe as a monster that could not be killed, planets feared him, his other name is the Armageddon Creature, going from planet to planet killing everything then on and on. Darksied was way to cocky going into the fight with Doomsday, thinking he was dead he turned his back while Doomsday got up and nearly killed Darksied, Darksied was amazed the Armageddon Creature was still alive after that kinda blast.
In Supermans first fight with him Doomsday, at the end Dooms was getting stronger not weaker because his body just kept getting faster and stronger to be able to fight Superman and get him out of his way. The first time he was ever killed was on a planet that was 1 of the smartest planets in the DCU, even on that planet it took years to stop Doomsday. If Doomsday loses the first time it would be very hard for Thanos to win against him the 2nd time. But then again if its the new Doomsday Thanos would win.

In theyr first fight Doomsday was getting weaker in the end. Superman states and sees this, when he for the first time in the whole fight breaks one of his bones. The " more the fight goes " the stronger he gets, its Hulks gig not Doomsday.
Superman even says that during the fight Doomsday seems to be getting stronger but later in the fight when supes was able to break one of his bones is about the only real pain he can feel. after thinking about it, it does seem like Dooms was being weakened down, Superman was thinking at the end of the battle "well looks like we both are about to put everything behind this punch so i better get him down now" or something to that effect.
the thing about Hulk is the mader he gets the stronger he gets sorta like Doomsday.

ummmm no......superman says FINALLY I MANAGED TO HURT HIM...that in no way implies dd was getting weaker....especially when the opposite was stated in the issue before it.....
and then superman commented on how they were both putting everything they had into the next punch..this again doesn't imply dd to have gotten weaker....it simply re-enforces the theory that dd was getting tired of superman and wanted to put him down for good....you gotta remember supes just kept getting up over and over again...it probably annoyed the hell out of doomsday....thus...hit superman harder, maybe he'll stay down this time.............
guess it worked...
again...I feel that thanos CAN win this....just not based on any arguments presented thus far...

no he can't. not without gadgets. he can direct and transform energy for destructive force, but he cannot manipulate matter. don't forget he's a titanian eternal, not earth eternal. their abilities are different. in a straight fight, thanos could blast him and punch him, that's about it.
and i said it before - in a straight up mano-e-mano fight, dd (the strongest one, obviously) would beat him.
