Captain America vs Azrael

That was Azbats, go into the 'badass moments' thread in the general comic movie forums and on page 2 I posted the scans of normal Azrael beating the crap out of Batman.

As far as Cap hurtin Azrael, Az GAVE Bane THREE full on shots after getting his ass kicked, getting pumped full of venom, escaping a sinking ship, going two days with no food and fighting off the addiction of said venom, then after taking these shots, Azrael STILL proceeded to beat Bane. Not saying that Cap can't hurt him, but Batman nailed Azrael with two of his 'best punches, punches that could shatter oak planks' after Azrael was supposed to be dead, had fougth the spirit of St. Dumas himself, and yet it barely fazed him.

I can see Azrael easily dodging/catching a thrown shield, and in H2H, he would be taking less, while dealing out more.

Not to say it's a sure win, because Caps is definitly a tough ass, but I say Azrael can take it 5-7/10 (I'm not finished with Azrael's comics, but I will be shortly)

I have now seen his feats, and though i am impressed you have shown nothing that cap cannot do, and in the skill department he seems to be lacking.

I think it's much closer than you give it credit for. Batman himself stated CA would win in a fit between them simply because CA would outlast him.

Seeing what Azrael did to Batman, I don't see how CA would take the majority. I can see him winning, yes, but at best it's 50/50.

Depends. I've heard from sources DC made reference to the events in that storyline. It wasn't great, but it was readable. Marvel vs. DC was horrible. It was a fan voted popularity contest. It had Wolvie beating Lobo & Aqaman beating Namor!

I mean, every time I've ever been matched up against someone, if I knew I couldn't win, I typically knew pretty early in the match, as well as why.

Azarel during the Contagion Saga had matured greatly and grown in competence compared with his knightfall persona

Azarel 10/10 while Cap is holding the shield up against Azarel's flamethrowers, shurikens and blinding light blasts Az will skewer him with his trusty blade.
