For instance like if Bubba Joe just went out and shot his mother in law, that is a sin.
If however, Bubba Joe was a judge and had someone killed because that person killed his mother in law or anyone else and was found guilty, that is not a sin.
So therefore when God sent the flood to destroy the people on the earth, that was just cause they were exceedingly wicked and deserving of death.
By the way we all are, but God loved us enough to send Jesus to take our place. If we just call on His Name and turn from our sins and believe on Him with all our hearts and follow Christ, we will be saved.
