Very true that Mega Man is not Nintendo property, but almost all of his games have been on the Nintendo console and I grew up playing these games with affection and addiction. I think it only right for him to be among the ranks of Nintendo's most loved and iconic. Come to think of it, was Mr. Game & Watch Nintendo property? I'm too young (25 years old) to remember if the Game & Watch system was Nintendo or not. That right there could be the catalyst to propel Mega Man to the Revolution, right? One can hope.

lets see... first off, megaman is made by Capcom. not
Nintendo. so no mega man will most likely not be in the next super smash brothers game. unless they pull a namco and co develop it like namco did with the arcade mario kart (they put pac man in that version)
the game and watch systems were nintendo's first attempts at video games. thats why there is a trophy of it in SSBM to explain who and what mr game & watch is.
if there is goin to be some unexpected cameos it would be from Sega or Namco the two company's that have worked with nintendo the most lately (for example the Tri-Force arcade board)

Well, they were already on SSBM, so I guess they are Nintendo property.
only mr game & watch is on SSBM =\ not mega man ..
and btw isn't shadow's "super" form called Hyper shadow?

No. It's his 'super' form so why would he be called Hyper Shadow? That was created by people cause it sounded cooler when in fact Shadow would need the power of the 7 Super Emeralds to be Hyper Shadow. Super Shadow was in Sonic Adventure 2

Hmmm i don't know if i'd enjoy that. I feel Smash Bros can only play best on a console, on a big screen. But then again when i say stuff like that, Nintendo always seem to make it amazing.

Why do people not understand that Mega Man is basically the MAIN.MASCOT. of Capcom? For Nintendo to put Sonic, MM, Zero, whoever the hell in a game, they.would.need.a.contract.agreement. or Nintendo would be sued for copyright infrigement since Capcom OWNS THEM.

hmm i'm pretty sure that people are aware of that (except a few on these boards lol)
btw sonic is from sega not capcom. ..and whats with all the periods in ur sentence up there? 😕
and also, trading characters isn't really far fetched.. like how link was in the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur
its really up to Nintendo and who ever they may want to negotiate with to add different and surprising characters to the mix (like Sega or Namco for the reasons i posted a bit ago)
I said MEGA MAN IS CAPCOM, If I own half of Sonic's games on GameCube, including Mega collection, how WOULDNT I BE AWARE Sonic is Sega? I'm aware I didnt mention Sega up there, but it would take an idiot to not realize Sonic is Sega. That wasn't really much of a trade, since they were EXCLUSIVE to the CONSOLE characters, and I don't see how Soul Calibur characters could fit in this game, unless they were sized down like Roy & Marth, since they are the closest to 'humans' in the game.
And I had to prove a POINT that people dont realize different companies OWN.DIFFERENT.CHARACTERS. People do that to prove points to other people.
