Well if what SpellJammer says is true about being good at SSB64, then SpellJammer would get his ass handed to em because without a doubt, i was the best in the WORLD in that particular game. And i too sympathize with SpellJammer about the fighting technique not conveting well into the GC version.

I'm actually getting quite annoyed with people wanting Sonic and the like to be in Smash Bros Revolution. Why can't people see that the game would be so much more fun if it was just restricted to Nintendo characters? Bringing in other characters from Sega would take away the Nintendo feel about the game.
To be honest, I didn't feel a "Nintendo" feel to the game. I felt the coolness of putting some of my favourite characters into the game and brawling with them.
The game still can be made by Nintendo, but they would have to get contracts and deals to be able to use Sonic, etc. That'll be hard. Nintendo's already made a few deals with Sega regarding Sonic, such as a few games coming to the GBA or GCN. Personally, I think he would be a nice addition.

In Super smash bros 1, I rules with the yellow rat and people underestimated him bad, alot of people don't know how to play the game. In SSBM they killed the rat and took out the back kick to a lob at you...they killed it for me and I never picke dit again...they murdered my move that catches everyone all the time. Ok so now I picked Falco and owned once again....I didn't pick fox because EVERYOne picks him to death. Anyway I hope the new one doesn't change the controls(moves) but I don't see how you could fight with that controller.
i figured it was pikachu, I just didn't like the terminology and wanted it corrected.
I thought Super Smash Brother's Melee was great in all areas. The grappling hooks added more strategy and another way to fight.
I'm just glad that they worked in enought moves for the characters to make it fun including the grappling hooks.
hey, n00b to forum here. and to forums in general. i'm 13 and i play SSBM regularly, 🙂 not as good as most of you folks. i'm a girl. (girls are gamers too!!) i registered for this specific topic. can't wait for SSBR. my brains are oozing out of my ears for each second i am waiting for its release. hope to see raichu. on the whole capcom, sega, etc. clash with nintendo: no chance. [who does bomberman belong to?? i love those games. highly unlikely for him to show up in a SSB game though. 🙁 ]

*frolics* i don't think pichu is the best char, but i'm just pretty good with pichu. i think all characters are equal; they have their ups & downs.
also, i have a random question. answer in any way.
would it be good if you choose what you unlock with the coin system? (i.e. "buying" taunts, clothes, items, stages)
i think it'd be cool if you could get pichu an earring with 100 earned coins. 💃
i believe grappling hooks make you lag if you miss. (if you're trying to grab a opponent)
