It can't be OB1 since he was busy undercover. It would be nice if it was Qui-Gon, sounded like him though. I rewatched episode I, then episode II where Anakin goes on rapage. Qui-Gon is one with the force now, he probably was watching over him all the time or something.

It was Qui-Gon.... GL said so and also said he compiled it from two lines from TPM.

Actually, I think QGJ only said 'Anakin'.

I don't think it was Qui-Gon saying "NOOOOOO!" It might have been a Tusken (IMO), because you hear some noises that lead you to think Yoda is "predicting" Anakin's dirty little secret.

QGJ said: "Anakin!!! Noooooo!!!!". GL said so, whatever you guys think. He also said that he edited both pieces from lines from TPM.

Where does GL says it is also the 'noooo'? I've never seen that specified, and it sounds nothing like Liam.

Hmmm, well. Now you have me confused. I thought I once read something about Lucas explaining where he got the lines. Still looking for that one.

STARLOG: And isn’t that Qui-Gon Jinn’s [Liam Neeson] voice we hear during Anakin’s attack on the Tusken Raiders who killed Shmi Skywalker [Pernilla August]? LUCAS: That’s a fan thing, isn’t it? It’s actually more than that. It’s a plot point. All I can really say is that you’ll find out [more] in the next film. If you thought really hard, you would probably be able to figure it out, but it really is a set-up for the next film. It’s connected with the whole ability to be brought into and become a part of the Force, but still be able to retain YOUR ability – which, up to this point, Anakin couldn’t do. And me too. But I am still sure the 'nooo' is something else- it is the 'Anakin' that is QGJ.

I still think it might be a Tusken, but I'm not sure. Kinda hard when there is nothing to be seen...

But isn't the "noooo" supposed to be QGJ? No matter if Neeson read that or not? I thought it was.
