why does anybody like rap?!?!?!

a question that has perplexed me for years. why do people enjoy listening to that horrid excuse for music. i mean, how is rap still popular after like 20 years of straight "sex with many anonymous partners", "do drugs till we die", Pimps, bitches and hoes, and killing each other. not to mention continuous distasteful profanity. Rappers have no talent. if you watch any live footage of a rap "concert", the rapper just looks bored passing back and forth on the stage. at least with real bands, they have fun when they perform. and rap is mostly pop these days. all the preps and jocks love rap.
bottom line: rap is the bane of my existence

Well, Kumar obviously is not a rap fan. Which means taht the only rap that he (and myself) have heard is the mainstream popular rap, like 50 cent. And who can blame Kumar for hating 50 cent? All of the rap that I have seen on MTV is absolutely terrible. Now, there may be some underground rap artists out there that have genuine musical skill, but that seems to be the exception, not the rule.

It is extremely ignorant to say all rap sucks. You have probably heard nothing more than 50 Cent, I mean come on. When you listen to real rap that Isn't on MTV then call me.

Thats what I tried to say. Most people never hear rap except what is on MTV. But I know that I do not like rap, no matter how good the artist may be. It just isnt my type of music.

So let me rephrase my previous statement. it may not all suck, but I dont like any of it.
