Superman vs Nightwing

Yes, I'm serious. But there is a catch. Nightwing is wearing Kryptonite armor that was magically forged together by Dr. Fate and Zantanna.

Fate and Zantanna are not at the battlefield. Only Superman and Nightwing in his armor. Nightwing is already wearing the armor before he gets there. The magic makes the armor weightless.

Who wins?

(Maybe I shouldn't give DC ideas. 😕 )

Um, unless Superman stays at a distance and attacks long-range....he loses. If he gets close he'll die. It's not a question of IF he can survive a close-range fight, it's just HOW LONG before Nightwing kills him.

Ranged I assume Superman can use heat vision and whatnot.

does superman have any prep time???? if he doesnt i would give it to Nightwing.

And if Superman gets close enough to fly Nightwing into space?

That's if he can get close enough.

Of coarse Nightwing may be able to stop Supes from doing that, also.

If he gets close it's over. I guess maybe if he went fast enough Superman could take Nightwing into space before the sryptoite could take effect, but once the kryptonite is near Superman he really can't do much..

I wonder if going out of orbit qualifies as "leaving the field?"

dawsey ur the 1 that made this fight its your call what the rules are, but i would think if superman would get near nightwing he would get weak and unable to fly very much or have super strength. nightwing would win unless superman could use his heat vision and the armor would have any holes in it he could try to burn nightwing and force him to stop but if the armor is all over his body superman cant do anything but hope batman comes around and backs nightwing down 😄

Lets just say that the magic also protects Nightwing from extreme amounts of heat. (Trying to make it a fair fight. Any suggestions?)

I do think Superman can still win though.

Superman uses heat vision through the eye trick that he did to Manchester Black, but instead of using it to do advanced brain surgery to remove the psi-tumor Black had, he just melts his brain.

Or sucks the air out of his lungs from across the battlefield with Super Breath and knocks him out.

Or freezes him with it.

Lazer beams the whole landscape, and leaves a suit with ash in it.

Or uses a single Superspeed run/fly punch to crack his skeleton before the K kicks in.

Or flies into the side of the planet and kicks it at the sun and kills everyone.

Too easy.

Stop using Superman.

I don't use Superman that much. In fact, I'm pretty sure that this is the first thread I have made that involved Superman in a fight.

The reason I made this thread was to see if there was a possible way for Nightwing to logically defeat Superman w/o draining Superman of his powers before the fight.

The magic is suppose to protect Nightwing, but I think the speedblitz is what hurts Nightwing the most.

Speedblitz from Supes is about as rough as it gets to.
