Superman vs Nightwing (w/ krypto-armor)

How exactly does Superman's weakness to kryptonite work, anyway? Does it instantly drain him or does it take time? I always see it used on differently in battles and in 'versus' threads. To get a clearcut winner for this match, I think that answer needs to be established.

that could go either way night wing have to get close and sups would hav to stay far

Unless this armour makes Nightwing invincible, have superstrength, and superspeed, and Superman can only use his super strength and invulnerability in this fight, Superman wins 10/10.

well im just sayin batman has taken sups and nightwing is just as good as him so it would be a touhg one

Nightwing loses, even with the armor he would need some pretty one sided prep.

Supergirl just beat a guy made out of kryptonite recently.

yes know wat u mean but i dident say nightwing would win but it seems that im the only person thikin brains over brawns nightwing has a bad ass wepon his armor so that and his tremendes ability to think like batman that give him a shot

with that being said superboy in the earler ones wasent harmed by krypotonight to bad and as a matter fact he even built up an emunity to it

Well?

Superman just needs to fly up to Nightwin and kill him in one punch, he may have kryptonite armor but its not going to protect him from a solar system moving punch.

By the way, Supes is near immune to K-nite, or have you not seen when he fought against Lex on a ship made of K-nite, and won.

It saps him instantly.

Before it didn't think it could, that it quickly weaken him, but there has been a few times when someone would shoot a K-nite bullet at Superman, and the bullet would just penetrate him every time.

Now bullets move pretty fast, so if it weaken him as I had thought, a K-nite bullet would just shatter against Superman instead of going through him right?

I may be actually wrong but I feel that it saps him instantly.

prep time doesn't matter, superman will stand back and laser nightwing in his head.

I would think so, but then again, maybe I'm wrong. (Honestly, I don't know if this would work on Superman or not; hence why I made the thread. Probably not.)

The thing is kryptonite is not an instant win, it does not instantly render him useless unable to move or any thing. These days it tends to just slowly make him weaker which gives him plenty of time to hit NW just once as that is all it would take.
