Perfect Day

Perfect Day

So Syren's thread got me thinking shock

...if you could have one day were you could be with anyone and anywhere you wanted would you take that chance? ..or would it be too much...for the rest of your life you'd have to live with knowing perfection and true happiness..would that be too much to carry on living with..?

😂 Excellent...

I just answered this in the other thread, sort of..

I sincerely hope I would have the self restraint to say no, because I know it would kill me to have to return to the mundane life (in comparison) I was leading before I had my perfect day.

But, and this is the problem, does anyone have that much inner strength, really? If I were actually faced with that choice, that opportunity, I would probably succumb. Like a ton of bricks 😬

I very much doubt I would...if I could be with the person I love (whoever he is) in a perfect place...I don't think I could resist..no matter the consequences or how it would effect mine and his life afterwards..😕

I think the chances of me being able to restrain myself and pass something like that up are nearly non-existant.....

I'll just shove these in as well 😛 if anyone cares to read them..😖

I think it would nice to have one day where things were different....you could be with anyone and be anywhere you wanted for just one day...😊

✅ That would be great... but wouldn't we, as humans, desire more than just one day? Even if we vowed to tolerate the limit, we'd always want more.

Yes..I guess we would..but if it was limited and we we forced to ONLY have that day...then you would always have this perfect day in your mind...though I think if you had that, you wouldn't want the rest of your life and would probably end up killing yourself becuase you had know true happiness and perfection but could never have it again..😖

😆 OMFG, that's perfect! I totally agree... so I think if anyone offered me that perfect day I'd say no thanks.

Actually, I don't think I could... OMG, we're screwed.

True..or maybe you would motivated to be with this person or in this place and so you'd strive to be with and end up happier even if things are no longer perfect..

Only if you knew.. that's a good point actually. What if this perfect day were your insight into what could become of your life if you were to strive to reach your full potential? That's incentive enough, surely... wouldn't it be great if everyone had the Xmas Past, Xmas Present and Xmas Future ghostly trio come over one night, like Scrooge... the world would be full of responsible, hard working, generous people. All striving to be perfect for selfish reasons of course. Jeez, what a headf*ck.

No...

knowing i'd lose her forever would kill me inside...

Perfect day? I'd meet all my friends here on KMC and chat with each other and hang out........go swimming at the beach.....barefoot soccer in the grass......dinner at some upper class resturant.....have a four-star hotel all to ourselves.....concert if possible.

That's another thing...if you could love some one...as in truly truly connect with them for a short time but then lose them..is that better than never truly loving someone or connecting with anyone for all your love...but that's the old It is better to have loved and lost..etc

What if it could be like this?

I would do it just for the experience.

Isn't that what they say?

It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all...

ive been with someone for a short time and connected with them, then lost them... so i know what its like... i couldnt go through that again...

But you've experienced it.. I'm in no way playing down your loss, please don't take it the wrong way. But could you imagine a life never knowing what you knew, even though it was for a short time? 😬

Yeah....I wonder if it's really true though...

Not even if it meant going through life never loving anyone? plus what Syren said 😮

Honestly, I'd rather know the experience then have to wonder....which is why I think that if I had the chance to live one day that was, to me, perfect, I would take it.

I guess we'll never know if it's really true... on the one hand, those that never love would have jumped at the chance, and those who have loved and lost wish they had never loved 😬 Catch 22.

I personally think its better to have loved and lost so you get to experience the god adn the bad although , what you don't know can't hurt ya 😖

How about this;

If you chose your perfect day, wouldn't this day also have to be perfect fgor everyone else involved? So as to avoid anything going wrong in the slightest? And if this is the case, is there such a thing as multiple people having the exact same idea of a perfect day?

Oh course it's better to have experienced love, even if just briefly. You can always love again.
