it does seem that way, doesn't it? and that's exactly why we strive for perfection so much. we want things we cannot have, and when we finally get what we want, we always turn to something else and want that. we look at others with envy, thinking that they have it all, thinking that they're living the perfect life... but beneath the surface, behind the glamour, they have their own problems and their own issues. they're striving for perfection just as much as the next person.

That's another thing...if you could love some one...as in truly truly connect with them for a short time but then lose them..is that better than never truly loving someone or connecting with anyone for all your love...but that's the old It is better to have loved and lost..etc
lucky for me, i've found this special someone. we've only been together for a year and we've already been through so much. we both sacrificed so much to be together. i left behind everything i thought i knew. it still hurts and though haunts me, i'll burden the scars forever if it means a lifetime with this one person. he showed me everything, what love is and what it means to love and to be loved. if for some reason, everything ended in an instant, i wouldn't regret anything. i wouldn't take it back. i'd do it all over again if i could.
no, my life isn't perfect and i won't pretend it is, but just being with this person makes everything worth it. all the doubts i have, the insecurities... he washes them away with a single kiss, a soft touch, and three whispered words.
i love him and will aways love him. now and forever... for all eternity. i'll never love again.

Don't you mean you love someone despite their faults... their flaws become attractive to you because you love them as an entirety? 😄
we all have our imperfections and quirks, but its those things that make us who we are. and for those who love us for it, they are the ones that are worth the time and effort.
