So Syren's thread got me thinking shock

...if you could have one day were you could be with anyone and anywhere you wanted would you take that chance? ..or would it be too much...for the rest of your life you'd have to live with knowing perfection and true happiness..would that be too much to carry on living with..?

Whenver I do something brilliant, I'm left with a feeling of nostalgia when it's come to an end.

Do I look back at it, sad that it's gone...

or do I recall the best bits, and let them bring a smile to my face?

I'd go for living the best day of my life, and always having something to look back on when things are bad.

yeah i would want it.. no question, even though it would hurt like hell all the days after

Hmm...

*Uses arms as scales*

A day of ravenous hot sex and love with Adriana Lima....or not.

What? You can understand the dilemma surely.

On a basic, primal level, I think we'd all choose to live our perfect day 😄

No, there would be nothing to look forward to - absolutely nothing.

Me too......How could you not...

Yes I would, I know there are people out there who have a much more perfect life than mine, and yes it would be kind of a bummer to be back to your ordinary life, but at least you got to expirience true happiness, how many people do get to expirience that?

what? of course there would be TONS of things to look forward too! Not because a perfect day happened does it mean you quit your life

Serioulsy though..I guess most people want for something different than what they've got...as you said..

it does seem that way, doesn't it? and that's exactly why we strive for perfection so much. we want things we cannot have, and when we finally get what we want, we always turn to something else and want that. we look at others with envy, thinking that they have it all, thinking that they're living the perfect life... but beneath the surface, behind the glamour, they have their own problems and their own issues. they're striving for perfection just as much as the next person.

That's another thing...if you could love some one...as in truly truly connect with them for a short time but then lose them..is that better than never truly loving someone or connecting with anyone for all your love...but that's the old It is better to have loved and lost..etc

lucky for me, i've found this special someone. we've only been together for a year and we've already been through so much. we both sacrificed so much to be together. i left behind everything i thought i knew. it still hurts and though haunts me, i'll burden the scars forever if it means a lifetime with this one person. he showed me everything, what love is and what it means to love and to be loved. if for some reason, everything ended in an instant, i wouldn't regret anything. i wouldn't take it back. i'd do it all over again if i could.

no, my life isn't perfect and i won't pretend it is, but just being with this person makes everything worth it. all the doubts i have, the insecurities... he washes them away with a single kiss, a soft touch, and three whispered words.

i love him and will aways love him. now and forever... for all eternity. i'll never love again.

Don't you mean you love someone despite their faults... their flaws become attractive to you because you love them as an entirety? 😄

we all have our imperfections and quirks, but its those things that make us who we are. and for those who love us for it, they are the ones that are worth the time and effort.

If I could go one day without falling down the stairs, it would be an achievment.

In fact, if I had legs, it would be even better.

Oh yeah I would take it.

A perfect day may be perfect but there are still plenty of good things to come, sure nothing will compare to that but it can still be fun or good, maybe not as fun or as good but still. Perfection is something very few people can understand there has never really been a perfect something for people although things can get damn close, after that doing other things will suck but you will get used to it and learn to appreciate that again too, and you would always have the memorry's of the greatest day ever.

i don't know why anyone would not want to live their perfect day. sure nothing would ever be that good again but sometime in the future, you would be sitting somewhere boring, or depressing but then you would look back on that day and say "hey, i remember that time when i had the best day of my life. i am glad that happened", and then you would sigh under your breath and smile a little and you would be able be happy knowing that you had the best time of your life. i think it would be worth it.

Not really... at least not as i see it...

but you'll see her soon 😱

Now that would be perfect in every defintion i know of...

My perfect day would be so easy to achieve that I would have no problem/fear living it out once.

It would include simply having a full day to myself, with nothing to do. I'd play video games, watch movies, write my screenplay.... having pizza for dinner...basically my normal day, the only difference is, for this day to be perfect I'd have a clone of Jessica Alba that I could **** whenever, however, and whereever I wanted that couldn't speak or talk back.

why is it ALWAYS alba? 😆
