I agree, he was well developed in the early chapters (revealing things like his good grades etc that made you realize there was more to him than the surface). The problem is that Kubo rarely USES the other established traits of the character, just his determination and persistence.

Another quality about Ichigo that some people could relate to back in the early episodes is that Ichigo really didn't want power or some grand adventure. He wasn't born to nobility nor does he have some urge to prove himself to the world. In short, Ichigo just wanted to mind his own buisness even though crap keeps happening to him.

Now he's just...fail!(for various reasons)

I think the problem is that he just hasn't had any actual character development. Kubo's been substituting real character development with this Hollowfication shit. That's not CD though. Ichigo's basically been the same person since the SS arc except for when he's in Hollow form.

Damn, Rangiku made Don Kanonji her *****, lol.

Meh, aisde from that another shitty Bleach chapter. Why does Kubo always have to throw in some filler to keep the plot from progressing faster? Who gives a **** about Don Koniji? The fact that his presence took up more than one page of a chapter that's already too short is irritatting as hell, to say the least.

I kinda feel early Ichigo > Naruto > Late Ichigo.

Naruto's become more varied and developed, thinking about stuff more than he used to. Maybe he's stealing Ichigo's development?

At least while Naruto's decided to try and tackle a task bigger than him, he doesn't think that alone is going to be enough to win, he just is determined that if there is an answer out there, he'll find it.

Still, I like the other characters like Urahara and Yoruichi who're willing to try their brains against the problem too. "Something too strong? Figure out how to make it blow itself up! Then, if that doesn't quite kill it, have a ninja follow up and try and finish him off."

Honestly I thought that was Rangiku's hand...although could you really blame Gin for trying?

Once again, nothing happened in this chapter. Why isn't anything happening? Can't someone do something already?

did Gin just grope Rangiku? and what is Gin going to do now that Rangiku is down? not all that much happened in this chapter except for that short talk they had and some humor. hope next chapter is better.

Unless Gin has fingernails that look like a woman's, I don't think he touched her but if he did, that squinty eyed bastard better die soon.

I'm glad Kubo finally realized he didn't have time to waste on rangiku and got that over with fast. Even so the story is still slow as hell. Why exactly was it necessary for Rangiku to make an appearance here?

GinRan fanservice maybe?! Or it could be to show the incompetence of the Gotei after Yamamoto went down. It could also be a way to remove Don Konoji w/o killing him.

They just do but if I'm wrong and Gin did touch her, I hope he does die.

1. Prevented the fight between Byakuya and Kenpachi from happening and because of this, we're in an almost never ending debate about it.
2. He joined Aizen and dumped Rangiku. If you dump a hotty such as her to join a madman's cause, you're either not right in the head or gay.
3. His eyes look rather disturbing when he actually opens them.

Gin as the main villain? That seems unlikely.

Well the scene did confuse me so I just went to the Bleach Wiki, looked up Rangiku Matsumoto and found this:

Gin responds asking her whether she is seriously was asking him this. He then asks if Kira really said 'I believed in him, yet he betrayed me.' Rangiku is surprised by the statement and touches her necklace.

Even while facing Yammy, I think those two still didn't like eachother and even if either Kenpachi or Byakuya died, just one of the two can kill Yammy with ease. Just 2 out of 2 fighting Yammy was spite to the max.

1 Just shows us that someone as awesome as Kenpachi can still be Gin's b****; which in turn shows us how Awesome Gin is.

2. Rangiku's a stuck up ho'. Why waste time with one such as her, when he could have thousands of them at his Awesome feet afterwards?

3. More of his Awesomeness. He can beat Ichigo with his eyes closed. When he opens them, you know its SRS BZNS.

Maybe. There are such things as plot twists.
He'd still be a better main villain than Aizen. Gin's a far more interesting character. And he's Awesome.
