His power was also a problem. I know Kyoraku is an elite captain and all but Stark could have pushed him to bankai at least. Along with that his reiatsu should have left some of those guys staggering too.

Ulquiorra's Cero Oscuras also looked like it backed more of a punch than Stark's ceros. C'mon Ichigo would've be dead right there were it not for his mask.

To be fair Arrancar have moar powah in Hueco Mundo.

Arrancar shouldn't be that nerf'd in the human world; especially a replica. Plus Stark was the primera: which combined with the decrease should've put his cero on Ulquiorra's level at least.

Barragan showing him up is also a bit of an issue.

His "healing" of Nemu first of all. He is not a true "comic-relief" character I'll give you, but he was portrayed as a monster in his original appearance.

Mayuri seemed like a comic-relief character when there was that filler with him farting after eating the Shinigami Women's Association's snacks and was paralyzed after seeing Nel taking off her glasses when she was mad but in canon, no, Mayuri isn't really the comic-relief type.

Uryu seems to have completely forgotten Mayuri's nonchalant butchering of his grandfather.

Definately and that has me confused. Even though in the past, Mayuri performed horrific experiments on the old man and attempted to capture Uryu and Orihime to experiment on, Uryu and Mayuri are kinda acting like they're gonna be buddies in the future and that doesn't feel right. That would be like saying Ichigo and Grandfisher should get along even though Grandfishrer ate his mother and you tell me if that sounds right.

Uryu doesn't strike me as the kind of person who'd hold a grudge.
Renji nearly killed him in the intro arc, yet Uryu has no problems with Renji.

Granted, Mayuri did kill Uryu's role model, but I don't think Uryu would continue to hold a grudge when he's managed to be the living shit out of Mayuri.

Starrk would have pushed him to Bankai if Shunsui hadn't had help from Ukitake and the Vizards. He said as much himself. And like I said, if those Ceros had connected, at all, Shunsui would have been hurting.

You mean when Mayuri escaped, alive, and nearly killed Uryu were it not for Nemu?

You would have a point if it was even addressed, but it hasn't been.

No, I mean when Mayuri's Bankai was rendered obsolete by a single arrow, and he would have died had Uryu not 'missed'.

Regardless, the only thing Uryu held a grudge against are Shinigamis in general, and even then he has no qualms about working with them.

Implying popular titles like Dragon Ball & Saint Seiya are still running in WSJ.

Kubo will do it as long as there is money in it.

Uryu had every intention not to beat, to kill Mayuri. He outright states to Nemu that the only reason Mayuri lived was because his aim was off.

I am not saying Uryu should have attacked Mayuri on sight, but the atrocities Mayuri committed against rhe Quincies has not so much as been mentioned. It's been thrown out, as had that aspect of Mayuri's character.

Of course he isn't dead: why would Ichigo 'save' him if he were dead? 🙂

While quite ugly, it doesn't make my point less valid. AHA!

He should die anyways. We all know that Yammamoto is gonna have that guy executed once the battle against Aizen is over with. He isn't gonna care if he betrayed the soul society just to get revenge on Aizen for having his guys beating up a friend. He is stubbornly cold hearted.

Unless Gin kills Aizen 131

Well technically Gin hasn't really done anything "illegal". He sliced some vaizard in half who was an enemy of SS anyway. Aside from that... nothing really.

And we must remember this is Kubo writing this shit, who says "**** you" to consistency.

It's called rape.
