I enjoyed the first part of the chapter showing off Tōshirō's character development. He actually seems like a captain now, being able to make rational decisions under press.
The second part was ass. Recently we had Renji taking earth shattering blows without any considerable amount of damage and now Ikkaku weren't able to one-shot the kid who didn't even get a portion of Ichigo's power.
Overall a decent chapter, I'll give it a 3/5.

The only thing I can think of that would've made it better is that rather than stating to directly kill Yukio if he didn't comply, that the ice would do the job for him. Something like "Given the amount of ice your body is exposed to with the clothing I'd say that you have about three minutes before you'll have to amputate your fingers and about five minutes before you faint and freeze to death."
Why? Because it gives the impression that it isn't simply a threat, but an ongoing process.

Earthshattering blows from a woman. Didn't ya know, even children with a completely crappy amount of power are better than women in Bleach (unless your name is Yoruichi or Soifon).

I think I said something of the like back when I first posted about the fullbringers. Though the kid that won't shut the **** up is pretty hax in theory.
Not sure about them w/their Ichigo upgrades considering Uryu and Chad have both been made fodder in light of this skip.
So what are Ginjō's power, again? Is it to steal other fullbring abilities?
Also, am I misunderstanding the idea of fullbringers when I think of beings that can manipulate the anima of creatures and objects and consequently through some kind of leak or connection affect the natural world? And that they have some bond to a certain object known as a focus to which they can manipulate to great effect? Unlike shinigami who manipulate the anima of creatures and objects through kidō and extract their zanpaktō from themselves through which they can affect the surrounding environment to a greater extent?
Also, why can shinigami stand in midair in the natural world but in the soul society they're earthbound?
