Soul King will be apart of this arc, as well as some enemy that has an ice palace.

The spirit king isn't necessarily a character, in fact it's indicated otherwise.

And hell wasn't recently introduced, it was introduced over ten years ago. It's just that Kubo didn't feel the need to extend on that aspect of the series.

Random thought: With Aizen rounding up all the powerful hollows and then getting them killed, Harribel is possibly the strongest being in all of Hueco Mundo, unless there's some very strong Vasto Lorde who managed to dodge Aizen entirely.
