Talking about security- really, none of the captains should use security, so I don't know why that guy was so surprised Yamamoto had so little.

Because this isn't like Naruto, where even a strong person can have their throat slit. If someone's sufficiently strong, most people *can't* effectively hurt them, and of those that *can*, a buncha guards aren't even going to provide an alert. And almost none of them are sneaky anyway, and their spiritual pressure'll wake you up.

You maybe put a kido barrier up, and that's it.

Still doesn't make sense how these guys broke into the Seretei in the first place. I mean considering the big deal everyone made about the impenitreble dome field surrounding it in the SS arc.

Didn't like Ichigo falling for an obvious trap but seeing as how it didn't work I guess it's okay.

don't know man. seeing how that Ivan guy had a trap set for Ichigo, maybe the ones that broke into Yamamoto's office have their own unique ability to negate the field or something.

I'm on the same page as you there, though I'm willing to give Ichigo a slight benefit of a doubt and say that he suspected something, but just went through with bankai anyway to see what was in store for him.

ichigo seems to have retained his beastly level (not fgt), but the way he shrugged off that attack suggests he's still pretty uber.

He has literally done absolutely ****nothing for the entire series.

Question. Which translation is right. The one that indicates that the quincies can suppress bankai or that says that they're able to use them?

I have no clue. But I hope its not to suppress them, because that would suck, and not show us the bankai's most readers have been wanting to see, i.e...Yamamoto, Kyoraku, Unohana, Ukitake, and possibly Aizen.

If they do suppress them, then I'm guessing they'll find a way to get them back, and use them.
