Not a bad Bleach chapter. Once Urahara started explaining the Quincy powers, it started getting good. Particularly the end. I like it. It shows how good the war is.

It also seems much quicker paced than the usual stuff. I like it when shit actually happens in Bleach.

Also, the Manga is back to Ichigo being awesome/mysterious like it was in the very beginning.

Just to sum up:

in the beginning...

Rukia: WTF? Who does he have all this power? Where does it come from?

Now:

Quincy: "WTF? Where does this power come from? Why can't I dominate him!"

I also like it that Soul Society is having to directly rely on Ichigo. Technically, last major arc, SS had to rely on Urahara. Ichigo only served as a distraction so Urahara could save the day. That's kind of what happened just now when the Quincy was taken down by Urahara (but he had a Bon Jovi revival).

I'm with you guys on this. the battles so far are being done pretty well and Ichigo being SS's secret weapon makes things more interesting. though now that Ichigo has been put on hold by that Kirge guy's last move may shake things up even more. just imagine when 12th company hears this and reports it to the other soul reapers.

I actually liked this chapter too. I like that Ichigo is actively asking about their capabilities before charging in and it all felt very professional, like it was a mission briefing.

Yeah I also like how Ichigo is no longer going on about "Having to win just because..." anymore. I like this new side to Ichigo.

I also like how Ichigo is being held up by Kirge. Now that their go-to-boy is being delayed, SS can now think of a better solution to their problem other than "Ichigo is our only hope!". I mean at least Mayuri is trying to be proactive unlike som CC that I know of.

Also like how Chad and Orihime are fodderized again just for the heck of it. Kubo really needs to find something to do with them.

I liked how Kirge still remains a bawss even after having a hole in his chest, and how his arrows moved faster than Bankai Ichigo. stoned

Since when has a hole in someone's chest meant anything in Bleach. Nice to see how a tech introduced hundreds of chapters ago still has some practical usage and could potentially make all of the VR pseudo immortals in combat.

Meant something to Ichigo right before a boat-load of PIS kicked in.

Chapter was good, though I fully except Ichigo to gt out of that cage.

Overall the chapter wasn't too good, not much happen. Either way, I spy with my little eye, Grimmjow's sword!

I was thinking the exact same thing, Astner. It just has to be Grimmjow! what's the bet that he'll bust Ichigo out just to fight him?

So I'm guessing since that Quincy died, Ichigo will be able to get out now?

If it did, that would invalidate the purpose for even having it.

So yeah it probably will. Then again, Kubo has been on a roll lately so hopefully not.

Man if that is Grimmjow I'll be mad. Killing Kirge would be too much. I'd start yelling and stuff.

But if it was Grmmjow that did it then why would Kisuke be startled. He should by all right be able to beat his ass regardless of any power-up he might've recieved.

I have to give props to Kirge for lasting so long. Even though I didn't particularly like him, I still think he deserves his due since he was able to stall Ichigo despite being beaten.

Also if Kirge's puppet tech can keep him up after having a hole in his chest, then wouldn't he still be able to hold himself together after this?

Maybe he's just as startled that Kubo remembered about him as we are. Or maybe he's got a freaky new haircut.

Anyway, who else could it be?

I thought this chapter was fantastic.

Kubo really nailed the atmosphere in this chapter. Watching Ichigo freak out while listening to everyone in Soul Society die/get their asses kicked was more than a little chilling.

And if that is Grimmjow, then... wow. That will be ****ing awesome. He's one of the best characters by far. It'll be entertaining to watch him run around and be a douchebag anti-hero.

Really looking forward to the next chapter.

I'll agree with the first part but not the second. If it is Grimmjow, I'll be annoyed cause I hate Grimmjow. But objectively, I guess we still need to know what happened to him and he was last seen in Hueco Mundo. So...I guess logically it would make sense for it to be him.

Dunno what he'd do though.
