eh, chapter wasn't half bad, though it seemed like Isshin and Masaki became interested in one another a bit too fast. then again, they did save each other's lives so I might be wrong on this count. and okay, so the hollow was made from the body of a dead soul reaper, who bit Masaki (and possibly leaving traces of itself in her) and she's a Quincy who has kids with a soul reaper... wow, so assuming there were still traces of soul reaper in the hollow, then shouldn't Ichigo be more soul reaper than anythign else? then again, I am also most likely wrong on thsi count...

I think at this point it's more intrigue than love.
Either way, not only was it verified that Ichigo's mom was in high school—a classroom as opposed to a lecture hall, and everyone wore the same school uniform—but also that Uryū's dad was Ichigo's mom's cousin.
And between pedophilia and incest–pedophilia she made the right choice. Shame on Kubo though.

Like mother like son. And reading through this flashback, I still don't why Ryuken acts so coldly towards Uryu or what the heck Ichigo is supposed to be taking away from this. Maybe its just the pacing that's getting to me is all.
