Reality bending...sort of.

They are bending space to make attacks go around Bach. Reminds me of the weird shapes you can make in a "House of Mirrors" at a fair. naw wut I mean?

It would seem so. First time I've seen an ability quite like this in a manga though.

I like the new Sternritter. Reminds me of Wonderweiss but way better implemented into the story.

Also what is it with manga being nostalgic about their best parts today? Bleach references the Rescue Rukia arc and Naruto has the two returning to "that place" to have their final battle. Not sure what the OP equivalent would be admittedly.

Considering the kind of damage other sternritter have taken, I doubt it.

Well Naruto is kind of ending but as for Bleach, maybe the characters have become aware of how low Bleach has gone and are looking back to days gone by.
