i thought Hachi has similar powers to Orihime, why can't he heal her? or himself for that matter?

maybe Orihime's powers are more advanced than his. or maybe Shinji thought he was in shock and wouldn't be fast enough to recover to heal Hiyori.

Or maybe they just needed a reason for the next fight to be a dramatic race against time.

i really don't see what the big deal is, no good guys have died so far, Aizen's the one with all the losses, he's down, what, 20? the good guys might have lost one right now, still looks like a win to me

if Aizen wasn't so confident he should be like; "Oh sh1t, oh sh1t, they just defeated my entire army... what am i gonna do now? i didn't even get one!!! how could this happen??"

I like how Hiyory effectively killed herself by running through Gin's blade.
