To me, it is obvious that Tousen is going to pull some vizard shit.

Also, calling it a much more powerful than a bankai makes SENSE as I've been trying to preach teh werd! The vizard form amped Ichigo up to well above his Bankai form, so obviously, it is "supposedly" much stronger.

I'll have to wait and see, though, as we don't know for sure.

What if it is a "3rd kind" of hallowfication/shinigamification? Meaning, what if it is like...I dunno, a pure form of shinigamification/hallowfication?What if it is something else entirely that is neither a hallow amp or a shinigami amp? What if it is a "hell" amp? You guys know I've been preachin' the word on an super-arch in Bleach that focuses on the hell portion, but I don't think Kubo is that fancy of a writer to mix things up like that.

We'll see.

And, that was a second form...not necessarily a second release. Ulq said himself that he's the only one with a second release, so we know Yammy didn't do a second release. He's just angrier.

My opinion....he has one more form above and beyon this one. Who's taking bets on it compressing into an ultra durable/fast form, similar to Ichigo's bankai?

It's just as possible Ulq just didn't know what he was talking about. After all, nobody knew about his second release, so if anyone else had one it stands to reason they also wouldn't have let anyone find out. And the way Yammy was talking, made it seem like the other Espada didn't even know about his first release stage, let alone whatever comes after.

Compact Yammy would be weird, but I doubt it's in the cards.

Yammy didn't freak out or even care about Ulq's spirit power. He treated it nonchalantly, even when he died. Meaning, Yammy knew about it. Considering that Ulq did it knowing full well that Yammy would notice (if it was some sort of secret), it stands to reason that Yammy and Ulq knew of each other. Compound the fact that Ulq and Yammy were around each other, a lot. So, when Ulq said that he was the only one with a second release, he really meant it.

And, yeah, I wouldn't put it past Kubo to recycle the "compression" idea with Yammy.

I can't see Yammy doing that for some reason. He might but it would just seem weird.

Anyone find it a little strange how Ichigo barely cut Yammy while Byakuya and Kenpachi were cutting pieces off of him like it was nothing?

Does that mean Kenpachi and Byakuya are stronger than Ichigo now or what?

it means tite kubo has not a single clue on what continuity means. everything he does he does for the sake of the overall plot not the little details.

The compression thing seems to go against what Yammy's whole deal is though, as his power increases, he continues growing to more and more gigantic sizes, but it is possible I guess. I for one am glad that Yammy had more to him than he appeared to.

I kinda had a feeling Ulquiorra and Yammy knew each other prior to Aizen showing up.

Tousen kind of pissed me off. I mean before all he would talk about was justice and the greater good. Now come to find out all he wanted was more power because he feared death. What a poser.
