it's like if Kankuro(from Naruto) got hurt when his puppets did, it defeats the whole purpose of having something fight for you

It's kind of cool that they gave someone a legit weakness though. It's always seemed kinda strange that so few ban kai have drawbacks.

Ouch.....

I wonder what shinji's release looks like

Cept, in this case, the sword is an extension of the spiritual being, the Shinigami. It IS part of their spirit. It essence, it is them. The sword is supposed to be a real manifestation of the old Samurai ideology of the sword: the sword is an extension of the self with the sword and samurai being one.

So, Sanji getting injured when his Bankai gets injured should actually be the norm, and not the exception. However, I think the point is to trade really high attack power for a vulnerability to indirect damage: all from his bankai.

that does make sense, but in that case, he may end up dying considering how powerful Tosen is now. and with him activating his ressureccion (think it's spelled like that) then this possibility becomes more likely.

Will he though? Remember its Tite Kubo. For all we know, Komamura could become Shinigami Broly in a poof by an unexplained and unimaginable plot device. But all bankai's should have some weak point.

Tousen(pre-vizard):not an easy feat in the least but grab his sword

Mayuri: Once again not easy but take advantage of his pathetic speed feats.

Soi-fon: Pray to whatever god you worship that her thunder hornet missle misses or just take advantage of her "defeat the purpose of her being potentially the fastest captain" bankai

I could keep going but that's just me making an agreement.

lolwut?

Last time I checked, Mayuri was about as fast as most other captains. Being struck by his shi kai is faaaaar worse than Soi Fon's. Mayuri only needs one hit after all.

Hmm...okay. I always saw Mayuri as pretty slow. Not as slow as -oh say- Toshiro but not something really impressive. Maybe its his lack of screen time or my bad eye that made me come to this who knows.

But when it comes to bankai's then Mayuri's speed really isn't as much of a problem as I thought with the whole incurable poison thing.

Spoilers (some sites list as confirmed, some unconfirmed):

Spoiler:
Tousen turns into some kind of grasshopper/mantis type resurreccion and proceeds to beat up everyone present without much trouble. And pretty much that's it.

Figures he'd abandon Yammy to focus on others.
Kubo needs to put down that fool, or show him putting down others.

I hate how ever since the "karakura invasion" the story has never been in one place but spread out among like dozens of fights. Get linear already!

I agree. If Kubo's going to show a number of fights, he should at least finish one and then move on to the next.

I know. It's like, recently I wanted to read the Starkk fight. It was spread over like 50 chapters. I don't want that shit!

lmao!

Spoiler:
Killed by Hisagi, sucka!

he got killed hard 😂

yes a well deserved death by tousen if he really is dead anyway

Wow if he's really dead, all I can say is how anticlimactic.

Pwned from behind. lulz

But, the way of "death" was kind of foreshadowed by Hisagi 2 chapters ago. Tousen got complacent due to his newfound vision.

So, based on what I've seen, Tousen had never done his resurreccion before...cause he went ape sh|t when he saw that he could see. (hehe!)

That was quite possibly the weakest death on bleach. As much as I wanted Tousen gone I have to say that was pathetic. I thought Tite had finally begun to kill good guys too. Another predictable good guys always win scenario...again.

I don't want the good guys to die. I want to see them WIN!

Orihime should be able to raise those peeps back from da dead, though. So, I guess good guys can die, too...and be brought back to life and leave the bad guys dead. 😄
