After reading the latest chapter I want to ask once again, "Will Tite finally kill off the good guys?" That a rhetorical question by the way; no need to answer it. But from this chapter, Shinji just got WTF pwned in seconds.
I also think that Tousen staying alive and talking for a few seconds was an excuse to try and explain the jesus move Ichigo pulled off against Ulquiorra. Well that's just my two cents of the chapter.

I think Shinji is an artificial vizard. he was experimented on just like the other vizards, you know. that was how they got their hollow powers. and yeah, his sword is pretty cool.
freaking Aizen, he's one of my favorite characters in the series and he still continually impresses me. he pretty much beat Shinji at his own game. and I actually thought that Aizen was shocked when Shinji first used shikai. he fooled me pretty good. now all that's left is for him to use his vizard release against Ichigo.

But Also: The hy- the kid that came out of the thing Aizen took out of Rukia (lazy- so sue me) may still have a moment of relative awesome coming his way. Other than that, we still have Yammy's new release to finish off plus whatever the resolution for Orhime is. (Forcefield on sanctimonious spelling corrections.) Is bleach going to end?
With the downfall of Aizen (because, really, he has played his hand at this point) there are two options: end it, or go on to some other, bigger bad (like in the TV version of The Seeker). DDM has pointed out the (thus far) unexplored 3rd world-Hell. That could be cool. So I'm just rambling, but I do have a straightforward question:
Do all battles take this long to play out? It is KILLING me!

Each battle has taken a while. I am not sure, but I think the final fight between Grimmjow and Ichigo was the longest fight (in the manga).
I would certainly like the lore of Squad 0 explored more and even the lore of the King.

I wonder... Hypothetically speaking if Aizen took the throne from Soul Society's king. Would everyone really follow him? I'm also intrigued to see if Squad 0 is obligated to be eternally loyal to the king no matter what circumstance. Even if the throne is taken by forceful evil.

All of Grimmjow's squad were Adjuchas.
We see Nnoitra and Nel looking for Vasto Lordes, but we don't know how long ago that happened, though it was quite a while apparently. Either the Vasto Lorde's they found were incorporated into the Espada (I doubt it, the only ones who could fit the bill were definitely not found by those two), or Aizen just has them in storage somewhere.
Watching Cartoon Network the other night, I had a lulz moment:
In the recap of the last episode, they have a sound byte (bite?) of Hitsuguya saying "Vasto Lordes are estimated to be stronger than our Captain class. If Aizen has more than 10 Vasto Lorde [I think?] then Soul Society is doomed."
Aizen: [to Ulq] "Show what happened to me and your TWENTY BROTHERS!!!!"
then the next episode a bunch of non-espada VLs get taken out by the "reinforcements." Was Hoshiro dumb, wrong, misled, or the victim of powercreep?
