Which of the following characters can take over OUR world?

they will have to be able to stand against the military might of all our nations combined. Assume we don't know anything about them, including their weaknesses.

Carnage
Iron Man (regular armor)
Colossus
Iceman
Green Lantern (Hal)
Superman
Storm
Magneto
Invisible Woman
Mystique

I think the only ones who CANNOT succeed are:

storm
iron man
colossus
carnage
iceman

What do we have to stop ANY of them?

Just about any super-hero/villan could take over our world. We're not setup to beable to combat them.

well, I think our military forces can take on:

storm - sniped, heat seeking missle, etc
iron man - launch heat seeking missles (hundreds of them)
colossus - tanks and bomb drops
carnage - missles

now its not gonna be easy, and casualties are probably gonna be high, but i do think the military can handle these 4, the other 6 will prob be able to take over the world

I think if storm were in "take over the world mode, no one could get close enough or a clear enough shot to shoot at her.

Magneto and Superman would be the most obvious ones. They are just too powerful.

dont underestimate the power of our military nor overestimate the power of these characters

our military has satellite guidance systems, thousands of stealth bomber jets, powerful tanks and ground artillery, elite soldiers, and last but not least....nukes

also remember that these characters have limited energy, they're going to tire out sooner or later

The army would still lose. Their bombs and stealth bombers wouldn't do anything to them.

Umm...I can't really see Carnage taking over the world. He is good, but seriosly, the whole army of all nations? One country could take him out.

All the others could probably take over the world. Except Mystique and maaaybe Storm, Iron Man and Invisible Woman.

Mystique could do so by stealth. She could assume the identities of world leaders, start wars, she could kill and become Bill Gates take his funds and move on. We have no feasible technologies capable of discerning her from anyone else so if she's in a populated area she would never be caught.

I think Green Lantern could easily, Iron man might be able to (I doubt it though) and Icemans stupid powers mean he could. Mystique could through stealth the others could not.
