He doesn't die in the book though. I think he is a welcome addition to TTT movie (but not the dying bit).

in the books it never says when he dies i think its just assumed that he takes the ship to valinor............but back on the subject i would like to live in lothlorien(as long as arwen was there and we made out like weasels under the trees 😄)

my fave place in Middle Earth is Rivendell. its so pretty there! w/ the waterfalls... and of course all the elves... 🙂
Oh and my other place is Mirkwood where Legolas lives of course. but in LOTR, they never show him in his home...

I think Mordor would not be bad either...

But at one stage, I thought about Legolas in Mirkwood doing all those crazy OB things like bungy-jumping and base-jumping etc.

I would go exploring the far east witch we know so little about, and the far south, also I would go finding out what this other dark land was, but if I would have to stay at one place it would be Minas Tirith🙂

Lammoth would be nice, or Nan-Elmoth... Lake Helevorn also seems to be some beautiful place.
But my favourites from the FA have always been Gondolin and Angband.

I absolutely looooovve Rohan...Meduseld is so beautiful. The scenery is amazing, up on that hill/mountain. I'm also a huge fan of Lothlorien and Rivendell. And the Shire.
