Homo mermanus is a fictional race of gilled aquatic humanoids in the Marvel Universe. Each one possess two twin gills located on their necks near the clavicle bone, which allows them to breathe underwater. Neptune is always referred as...Neptune in comics. Once or twice as Poseidon. And I don't think Roman Gods exist in Marvel Universe. In Hercules comic, Hercules called Hades "Pluto" and he said that he went back to Hades because he got mixed up with some cartoon dog...so I guess they are just different names they use.
Namor is due to have a role in the new Civil War of Marvel Universe. Nice cover that I posted at other thread:

I'm spreading it EVERYWHERE.
Until one day...the scans reach the eyes of the guys at Marvel and they say "He can do all that?" And give him nice upgrade and put him on all three series of X-Men (since he is a mutant) and New Avengers. And have him do badass stuff in every issue.

Wow namors awesome ,never really thought he could do all that hes more impresive than aqua-man by far and namors more hip people are even starting to cut their hair like him.Just notice in the fantastic four movie the actor that plays human torch has the namor haircut...hehehe....namor knows fashion....
