thanx. Shaw as my favorite too. alot about that, especially being what Shaws power is, that Namor took his best like it ws nothing, dropped him in one page, and did after being out of water for awhile. thats not a feat alot can claim on Shaw, not using physical force.

Namor fights Sentry for the 2nd time. Note that when sentry leaves the fight Namor appears to be fine, and standing unscaffed, perhaps perplexed at his departure......this is after sentry flys him through two buildings and plows him into the ground with enough force to cause considerable damage to the landscape. still though, namor couldn't seem to do much to sentry here.
Namor Annual #2 (1992):
I'd like to display in this feat one of those seldom seen namor powers......you know like electricity absorption and radar.......this one's called divine intervention.lol
seriously though, every single time namor has died(which is only twice), the God Neptune has resurrected him and given him something to turn the tide of the battle....like for instance:
Here Namor has been switched into the feeble, weak body of Rick Jones. A massive foe who is battling the hulk knocks him into a swimming pool...and he drowns(lol, ironic, i know)......nonetheless Neptune appears, and grants namor back his life and the strength of his own body.....and this isn't the only time. I'll try to find the 2nd time and post it.....think it's namor v3 36 or 37
(note: Namor also takes out in one blow a huge foe who the hulk had been struggling with for a bit)

Namor's 2nd resurrection by Neptune. He fights and is killed by Suma-Ket(who is extremely uberly powerful BTW -- I believe namor defeated him.....if he did, it's easily namor's highest end feat IMO). Neptune resurrects him and endows him with a sacred armor.....another example of neptune divinely intervening on namor's behalf and giving him aid to win the fight........if that's not a cool power, idk what is.lol

Don't they describe Namora the same way? Are they trying to portray these two as equals?

but yeah it seems that with her re-entrance into the MU recently their trying to potray her as equal(it was said ven before, but never reallydisplayed)......namor will never fight her(that is unless one of these brilliant writers think up some special circumstances).....so idk how'll we'll ever actually find out save her accumulating some equally amazing feats throughtout her future appearances.....she's done some cool stuff lately, but i'm still waiting to see if she honors her claims
