Zombie Survival (Original Idea from Matroshak and Camille's Death. Writer and designer Red Spartan)

Reports of an outbreak of 'Zombyism' near the border of Laos in North-Eastern Cambodia. We are getting information that the outbreak is being cause by an genetically altered strain of the Ebloi virus, native to Northen Africa. Although we have contained the virus within a quarantene zone, there is no way to know wether or not that the virus has escaped the area. International borders are being shut down in an attempt to stop any advance of the outbreak. A small strike force of American fighters are on their way to use high grade charges to burn everything in the nearby area. Samples have been taken of the altered strain of Eboli to try and explain what is happening but instead it has only raise more question. It seems that anyone who comes in contact with the recently 'revived' seem to mimic what occured to the assaulter. A cure is being researched but not much headway is be--. "No signal detected. End broadcast."

Days before the outbreak in America you will all be given the chance to prepare yourself (for the paranoid.) or to just discuss the recent happenings. (for the more layed back.) You will all be given three days to develop friends with the other Rpers and to kind of grasp an idea of how things will work. On the first day, reports will come in that scientists are experimenting with the strain of the virus and people will start to feel uneasy. The second day will consist of reports that the virus has become out of hand and is spreading quickly. People will start to try and stock up on food and such. Day three will be an all out attack from the undead (around the evening). It almost will seem like an all out war is going on outside.

In the town of Cedarbrook Pines, there is an old mansion, once owned by a wealthy family. Mysteriously, however, children who would play nearby would disappear. The mansion was eventually abandoned, and the children's deaths were left unsolved.

2012, AD

A group of college students get an invitation to the filming of a new horror film nearby. The location: an allegedly haunted old mansion in nearby Cedarbrook Pines. Upon their arrival, they notice that there is no film equipment, nor are there any signs that there ever were. The students fall unconscious, awaking within the mansion itself with only a single note of explanation:

"You are locked inside the mansion. Your only hope of getting out alive is to solve the mystery of the missing children, and put their spirits to rest."

it's kinda a resident evil style plotline. the children, former residents, and animals that once inhabited the mansion will be the main threats, back as zombies. and as for the characters themselves, i was thinking college freshman or sophomores at the oldest...

It didn't fail horribly. It had a pretty good run. Over 700 posts I believe which is decent. Not no RPG of the year but still pretty good. If you want to see an RPG that failed horribly go look at Sonic the Hedgehog RPG, Gears of War, Thriller, or Metroid.

Oh and if you hadn't noticed I sort of decided to try to do the Judgment of Celestial instead of SSB.

(Okay this is a complete redo of the entire Celestial saga)

Story: It is 21 years after the end of World War III which saw the return of the Soviet Union in Russia. Now all the nations of the world are under a single banner; the United Nations of Earth. But lately vast amount of people have gone missing. The total number now; 23,411. Word got out that they have spotted many of these people in the forests in France. The president, John Quiin, of the UNE has sent forth Wolf Team Gamma led by Jack O'Neil to gather more infomation and radio in for back up once the location of the people have been discovered.

Yet something much, much deeper is behind this. What is it? No one seems to know.

**Okay I've been adding things to do and writing, rewriting, and basically making a HUGE plot that so far takes up 13 120 page notebooks of nothing but writing. I have been working on this single story for about 6 years! This plot is HUGE! I had to cut a lot out of the first and only JOC that managed to reach the end because less and less people were RPing because of Dyingstar. SO PLEASE JOIN! I would like to tell the story of JOC the way it was meant to be! [/B]

**NOTICE: For the record I've decided to push JOC further into the past to start at the training academy to build back story!

I abandon them? Go look at Metroid; about 5-8 people said they would join then BAM! Only Thunder Fox and I actually post and soon TF stops posting.

I've only been pitching up ideas in here for the Judgment of Celestial at leaset three times a month. It's clear that I haven't given up on JOC. Not to mention I have had many successful RPGs like:

The Perfect Warrior (both went well. One was ruined by Dyingstar but even that one had a long run and the first one lasted even longer)

Resident Evil: Shadows Unleashed (lasted till the very end of the RPG)

Battle of Evermore (lasted till the very end of the RPG)

Celestial X (lasted till the very end of the RPG)

X2 (Sequel to Celestial X; had a good run but like that it just died)

In fact counting every RPG I've started I'm sure I'm a reason we have so many RPGs. Off the top of my head I've did the Judgment of Celestial (many times...still trying to get one started to complete), Final Judgment, Gears of War, Metroid, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Smash Bros, Ultimate Fighter Tournament, Battle of Evermore, Final Fantasy IV, Thriller, Resident Evil: Shadows Unleashed, Star Wars: Shadows of the Republic, the Perfect Warrior, and Celestial X. I'm sure I've did more but that's all I can remember. And if you go look at a handful you will see that I never once abandoned them...expect for maybe Ultimate Fighter but that was because I was too busy to keep track of who wins, who loses, and who gets all this other stuff.

And people replied to your thriller one but you never responded..

Then somone comes back and say " CAN I HAVE A RECAP ?!!?" umm sure go back to wher you last were and start reading ^^ years ago these forums were flocked with so many people that enjoyed to post. What has changed ? people ? admins ? storys ? why is it so unsuccesful. Maybe i answered my own question ?

Monsters!!!

Finnaly, a game for horror fans! "Monsters!!!" takes place in a 1930's timeline. The plot: legendary Count Dracula has discovered, within ancient texts, a way to bring the undead the glory they deserve, by simultaneously wiping out all human life. His mistake being that he wiped out all -human- life. This left out everything which was not human. Those being other monsters. And so, Monsters from around the globe were left with no food source, causing them to battle one another, for both food and the right to rule. Monsters in the rp include all origional Universal Pictures monsters (The Wolfman, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, The mummy, Dracula, The Blob). Created characters may also be used, especially if they could have been created by beings such as Dracula, the Wolf Man, and any other monster that could spread their disease through bites. Zombies are also welcome. I, myself, will be playing the Creature. The rest must be filled, and whomever wishes to play Dracula must send me a personal message, with a post example. No one wants a crappy rping dracula. Who's in?

Asking for a recap is not wrong in any way at all! It is a quick way that saves time and trouble!
