Hmm...maybe if I explained everything I can about the Judgment of Celestial you will become more interested. So here is an explantion on Cielo Warrior, Celestial Energy, and what the first part of the adventure will be about.
At a highly trained military academy that trains students to become Cielo Warriors it is nearing the time of the field exams. A Cielo Warrior is one trained to harness and use Celestial Energy. Celestial Energy is an energy field that surrounds all living things; the field is invisible to the untrained eye but to the highly elite Celestial Energy is very visible. It is easy to predict moves by looking at Celestial Energy for Celestial Energy moves five seconds faster than the body itself thus the opponent can predict what his enemy will do in the next five seconds.
Celestial Energy can also be harnesses; one can lower the Celestial Energy level of certain areas of the body such as an arm or leg to increase the strength of the other but also weakening the other body part. This can be used to increase one’s physical strength to be able to lift objects a normal person wouldn’t be able to lift or run at speeds a normal person wouldn’t be able to reach. Celestial Energy can also be harnesses and become an element such as fire, water, wind, or lightning. A lower level student is able to do such a thing but in a small amount.
A truly skilled Cielo Warrior is able to use more than one element at a time such as fusing a lighting and wind attack together. Legend has it that only one was ever able to summon forth all elements at once. His name was Sefirah. Sefirah was said to have lived during the Silver Age of Igros and fought during the Axis War. Old documents point out that Sefirah slaughtered every in his own hometown after discovering a terrible truth about him that remains a mystery to this day. Sefirah has been called the Fallen Angel because of the Celestial Energy he held and how far he fell.
Celestial Energy can also be stolen but first you must be able to see it. Only a very skilled Cielo Warrior can do this. In fact only four people have been known to steal Celestial Energy; one was Sefirah. One must learn to harness a current of Celestial Energy around their hands as well as contain the current so that most of it is at the tip of the fingers. Once Celestial Energy is stolen it becomes a spiraling ball of energy that can then be used as an attack weapon. The spiraling ball has been named “Dark Harvest” for one must harvest a living being’s Celestial Energy to use it.
When Celestial Energy has faded completely the person dies. Without a trace of Celestial Energy a person cannot live. Sefirah was known to be able to steal one’s entire Celestial Energy aura and unleash the Dark Harvest into an explosion of pure energy. Something that dangerous is normally left unheard of in the academy called the Bulma Academy. Of course Celestial Energy can be used to heal wounds and even transfer one’s Celestial Energy to another. It takes two hours to restore ¼ of the spent Celestial Energy in any attack which makes it critical to think before you strike.
The field exams is an exam that puts people into teams of three and given a Cielo Master to train them for five months for the Cielo Exams which is the final test to determine if one is able to achieve the rank of Cielo Warrior. The Cielo Exams are a series of trials that will test the limits and beyond of a student’s capabilities in not just physical prowess, but also Celestial Energy, knowledge, and even one’s use of combat without Celestial Energy. Finally those who make it to the end will be pitted against one another in a series of one on one matches.
Just because one loses doesn’t mean he will not achieve the rank of Cielo Warrior and if one wins doesn’t mean he will achieve the rank of Cielo Warrior. The battles are to determine if one is calm and aware of one’s limits for many missions a Cielo Warrior goes on can kill them easily if they don’t have a full understanding on one’s powers. If one is reckless in combat they cannot be trusted with such difficult missions. The life of a Cielo Warrior is not an easy one and even if you rise to the rank of Cielo Master there is no certainty your life will be easy.
The current headmaster of Bulma Academy is John Quiin. Quiin is a veteran of the Uplian-Fongon War in which he was a mere Cielo Warrior. Quiin became headmaster after the former headmaster, Herald Kasdaye, resigned for unknown reasons and went off to the Unexplored North. Many believe he was seeking the lost temple of Aon which is said to hold a weapon that was forged by Aon himself.
Aon is the giver of Celestial Energy and the god of Igros. Aon formed Igros from nothingness and gave to all life Celestial Energy to remind all life that he is the giver of life and can take it away at will. Aon has been absent from Igros since the Golden Age but left the Avalon (a race of angelic-beings) to watch over the people. It is now the Bronze Age (or third age, Golden being the first and Silver the second) and the Avalon now remain in their respective temple to keep the planet’s Celestial Energy full to keep Igros alive.
The planet takes its Celestial Energy from those who have been killed. When one dies naturally his Celestial Energy simply fades into nothingness but when one is killed or dies unnaturally his Celestial Energy still has power left and so without a host it drifts down into the planet. The core of Igros is made up of nothing but Celestial Energy and because of it the planet lives. Legend has it that during the Silver Age a race called the Avalians were made from pure Celestial Energy; they resembled normal man but have Celestial Energy far surpassing any other.
They have since been thought to have died out from the many wars of the Silver Age. Many believed Sefirah was an Avalian; even the greatest Avalian to be born from pure Celestial Energy whereas the others would be born from Celestial Energy that has been deemed unclean.
