Lurking in the Darkness.
This is the story of a very distant planet, that had a recorded seventeen years of sunlight before it went dark. The darkness only lasted about a week but odd killings occured that could not be explained. It seemed as if the victims had been lifted into the air, dropped, then finally eaten. With everyone in a panic about the killings, a group of scientists went to observe an ancient "alien sight" where a cave was found. The scientists' report was never published. Shortly after they opened the cave further, the darkness returned and after it had been that way for days.. the killings resumed. When one of the culprits were caught in the act by a high powered light, everyone was surprised to see a very off looking dragon looking creature. When the light hit it, it let out a blood-curtling scream. Believing that the light had actually killed it, they were proven wrong when thousands came over a distant hill. Though none could be seen they sure enough could be heard.
Objective: Survive the attack and move with the other survivers to the main citym where light is plentiful.
Companions: Other survivors. (Players)
Gear: Whatever can be found on short notice.
Chance of survival: Slim.
Once all the players arrive in the main city, a defensive that will ultimately fail, will take place. Stay or fight, it's up to you.
I know I already have an RP up, in fact I even have one on reserve. This one just seemed to good to let myself forget, so I am throwing it up here now.
This is not an all out war or shooter or anything. It's more like an RP where you get yourself and others to the main city so that you can actually live in peace for a while.
