He went into hibernation there, I thought.

It never says if he died.

I don't believe it was ever mentioned that he returned to Korriban, how would his tomb wind up there?

Didn't Sadow die on Yavin 4?

He went there and was the DLOS. He then went into hibernation. Some people thought that Nadd killed him sux-hundred years later, but I think he is still alive.

I meant to say when.

The tomb itself is a marker for the person, not the body. Naga isn't in there(as far as I know)

using force powers leaves you defenceless

care to explain that? i seen dooku use force powers against obi and anakin and he was never in any apparent danger.

maul used some force powers, even though insignificant, against qui-gon and obi and that wasn't the cause of his death either.

i'd imagine a very powerful sith like ragnos, or any of the other sith here could use a force push to knock a few away and take out one quickly - it has been done. example, dooku disabling anakin temporarily when fighting anakin and obi, though he used force lightning - and dooku was MUCH weaker than any of these sith here.

i would have to agree with fishy here, ragnos would be the victor here, i would like to know much more about ragnos but logically speaking from what we do know his force powers must have been to the extreme in potency.
i will agree that ajunta pall has a good chance at this as well, from what i read he's very formidable.

tulak hord yes he's a great duelist but what else do we know about him other than being a great duelist? not much, still, him being a dark lord of the sith i'd imagine his force powers couldn't have been cheap. but how do they rank in comparison to nadd, kressh, sadow or even pall and ragnos?
while the other sith here their swordsmanship skills must have also been excellent. perhaps maybe not on par with hord but if their force powers blow his out of the water, that can be used in combination with their swords to take him out.... or not.

I would assume he would his body would be in there, I mean his sword is. But Sadow's death is a complete mystery.

Hence why it is hard making threads with him, or others in his day and age. There's just not enough info.

Just like Ragnos, Hord, Pall ah hell everyone in this thread.

I think Naga Sadow's tomb was erected by his followers who remained on Korriban. No other explanation makes sense with what we know. Of course, there was no body in that tomb, unlike the others. (Or was there a body in Hord's tomb? I don't recall) But Uthar Whynn DOES call Naga Sadow the greatest of the Sith lords in the valley. Either he's sorely mistaken or his idea of greatest involves someone who fought the Republic (as the Sith of the KOTOR era did) and not a Sith emperor.

He's full of shit, and bad smelling shit at that. The guy makes up everything and tries to act like he has insider connections.

Naga Sadow might have had the tomb built for him while he was alive in korriban.

Why would he have a tomb built for himself when he was alive. . .

Yeah, keyword is: tomb. Not to mention Sadow was a Sith, who wanted to gain immortality.

A Temple, maybe, but not a tomb.

Gleamed from the Tales of the Jedi: The Golden Age of the Sith TPB Author/Publisher synopsis (which makes it as canon as the work itself), it states:

"Marka Ragnos ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. He was the Dark Lord of the Sith -- the most powerful of the most powerful."

Ragnos takes this match.

Nice. . . solid evidence. Ragnos is the most powerful Sith Lord, and arguably the most powerful being, ever.

Arguably yes. We don't know if he possessed any unique powers, but as far as the package goes for being powerful (as in can spank you during a duel), he's almost certainly #1.

Nihilus is arguably the most powerful being ever, all things considered 😛.
