Heh, I also thought so - that is, I used to think that I'm still in "KMC mode" when using other internet communication, remembering smilie names from here etc, but now that I'm back and get the chance to use them, I can't remember any names properly 😑 ❌ and always have to look at the smilie cheatsheet...

Oh yeah, I use a lot of them on MSN still... And I do use the code for droolio and hug smilies. 😄 A lot.

It's so refreashing to log in and see multiple threads with "New" next to them, and the most recent post is somethign a few hours old, rather than days or weeks 😊

My new favorite word is Seraglio (it's a synonym for harem) which I do not have much use for it real life but it is so fun to say.

Seraglio sounds like an italian version of Serail (the word used in Germany for the same thing), but as far as I know it's not exactly the same as a harem - Seraglio is the whole residence, but harem is only the quarter reserved for women...?

Perhaps? I am no expert on the word, My information only comes from wikipedia, which is the not the most reliable source, but it is the most convenient bag

Oh, that's interesting, I didn't read that. Your article also has a link to a German version (Serail), and there it actually gives the meaning I knew... looks like the word can be used to mean slightly different things (just like harem refers both to the part of the house and its inhabitants).
